Something that I can't wait to see is one of those reactions were the public just go batshit insane, like during the Twilight Princess video, or the debut of Other M, or the announcement of Smash Bros last year.

So Ubisoft is the most on the ball Developer right now? amazing... not only are they heavily supporting Wii U, coming out with brand new IPs, bringing their AAA games to all 3 main platforms, but they are even supporting Vita when Sony basically forgets about it. Sure it's a spin off, but at least it's a proper handheld exclusive.

if u refer to Zombie, its not a new IP its an existing IP from 1986...

I wish Nintendo has stuff to show made with big names Japanese anime studios or film directors, so as to show they are up for the Hollywood game MS/Sony are playing.

Man, the pressure placed on Nintendo to put on a great show has just shot up now that Microsoft and Sony failed. I'm excited but nervous for the Big N. There's just some things Nintendo could potentially disappoint gamers about so I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I will be keeping my expectations very low for third-party support especially since Ubisoft appears to be Nintendo's biggest supporter. Will we just see mostly more current-gen ports? Nintendo will obviously need more than that to satisfy fans and make analysts more optimistic about Wii U's future.

I just want to say one thing before the conference happens and everything I say gets lost in the chaotic amount of posts. I've really enjoyed speculating about the Wii U with all of you guys. I don't think I've ever fit in a community so well. You guys make NintenGAF great. Whatever happens during the conference, I want you guys to know that you're awesome.

Thank You NintenGAF

Man, I make your words mine!

Thank you GAF friends :)

Had a funny thought on my drive to work this morning, went with the quick and dirty doodle and scan method considering what today is. Enjoy.

I feel like we might die now or something. This sounds so ominous. :p

I don't know about dying, but seing a new Zelda game in HD would probably give me a heart attack because I don't expect it to be there at all. That's the only thing out of this conference that could possibly kill me.

Getting the hype jitters! Even if Reggie walks onstage and precedes to show trailer after trailer for Shit: The Game, it'll be sweet to FINALLY be done with all this suspense! Nintendo's E3 lineup has probably been one of the most speculative topics ever at GAF. What a ride. And to echo the sentiments of others, I want to thank you guys for so much great discussion. :)

Well we don't know it for sure...

Been thinking about Nintendo's presser.. and was thinking about what would be a turn-off for me.

-A huge focus on ports (I'm talking months/years old ports), not games that aren't out yet getting focus
-Too many shooters. I've said since last e3 for Nintendo to really cross-over they will need a premiere FPS, but you can have too many in one show. I want to see that Nintendo.. bright and colorful world in play in other avenues.
-Too much talking, though I don't really expect this, but who knows.

We're almost there guys and gals. You all took the WUST beyond what I imagined it would be. All I expected was to make a thread that would be a receptacle for Wii U news bits to keep Gaming-Age from being cluttered up. It was my personal goal to try and bring up things worth discussing and find info to hold us over till we got to this point. I hope you feel that I accomplished my goals, and if you don't, well I tried. I think we're in for a real treat today and I hope Nintendo can pull off an entertaining hour for us.

Thank you, you personally have kept this thread on course, at times when we would almost violently go off of it, your post clarifying Arkam for instance. The entire thread felt it had to attack him, and then you came and showed that Nintendo fans can be civil. I would call you MVP, but there is an entire cast of amazing posters in these threads, and it would be hard to choose.

I would like a moment of silence for our lost posters, the road to E3 can be a perilous one, and we've lost some of our main cast. ...

In closing, thank you gaffers for helping me stay sane this past year, and I want to especially thank EatChildren for his normal posting in these threads; even after it went to community, you were not only a voice of reason, but of authority that was nice to have around, especially when "we" attacked the mods for "unfair" bans and taking "sides" in our little stupid consoles war.

90Minutes remain. Enjoy the show, I'm off work and will see you guys tonight!

I can't believe I waited this long to ask this, but what is a good site to watch the conference stream? My connection is not particularly fast (150-200 kb) and Nintendo's own stream always lags or skips for me.

I don't expect too many pie charts since the last few years haven't been as incredible for Nintendo as they were in years past. I expect some talk of 3DS sales growth, but not much more than that.

Yeah, I'm with everyone else--this community needs to continue. The discussion here has been fantastic. Thanks to all who have participated and especially to those who dropped some insider information ahead of time.

is their a teamspeak channel we can go into or something of that nature for the event. I know it would be hard with the amount of people but if we just kept it to gasps and cheering that would be cool haha.

I usually love reading GAF reactions during conferences but I think this time I'm just going to sit down and watch the show.

Just as a reminder, in case you haven't seen it in the general thread, keep a tab up for http://press.nintendo.com/.

You can login with these credentials:

Login: guest
Password: nintendo

There usually is an E3-specific login available as well, I will post that once it's up.

Hello guys. I'm incredibly tired, but the hype keeps me awake.

You are awesome.
Let's hope Wii U's showing will be too.

Maaaayne...I'm not going to be able to watch the conference live, so when I get back to a computer I am going to have to go DIRECTLY to a video of it so I don't hit any spoilers on the WWW.

You know, after the Nintendo Direct, I don't really mind the name of the console. Conceptually it makes sense. It might be a little goofy looking, but who cares?

The same people who still snicker at "Wii", I guess?

Although honestly, I don't think anyone does anymore, it's been around too long.

Something that's great about Nintendo's E3s is that there's always an onslaught of information coming during the press conference........ AND after it.

I wonder how many games will be announced as just a logo, and of those, how many will actually come out?

Heh, would you prefer Nintendo to show off footage of third-party games that look exactly the same as the 360 and PS3 versions ? Obviously, this is one of the things most fans will easily be disappointed by.

I spent more time lurking here than posting, even before becoming a member of NeoGAF.

I gotta say my thanks to bgassassin and you nintengaffers for the amazing time speculating with you guys.

people who would never get it anyway

I hope you can resist spoiling yourself :D

Anybody wanna take bets?

I think we see F-Zero today and a MAJOR focus on 3DS/Wii U connectivity with games (2D Mario and probably an Animal Crossing Wii U).

Keep in mind, though, that I also thought Sony would end with a peek at Orbis last night.
