You for sure did not misremember. I remember seeing on Nintendo Direct or something that it would be available on the eShop.

Quoting myself here since i think it was simply a bug in one game. Today i got a trophy in WipeOut 2048, and it synced like normal. But when i got trophies in Treasures of Montezuma Blitz, it wont show that sync message. That game is also not on my PSN trophy list for some reason, even if i manually sync the trophies. Anyone else have this issue?
Treasures of Montezuma Blitz has local trophies. I have no idea what that distinction is myself, but I'm assuming that means they don't go towards your trophy count.
That game has local trophies only.
Not sure how they how/why they did that.

Makes sense why they dont sync then.First time i've heard of something like this, really weird to be honest. I see no reason why they wouldnt allow the trophies to be synced.
I thought I read something about Sony not allowing trophies for free games. I suppose this is a compromise and allows the developers to tout that they have trophies and still contribute to a sense of achievement without breaking SCEA's policies.Thanks for the info

That is weird though. One of the main draws of the Vita is the screen after all. Hope you get it fixed!
You can't get trophies unless you buy a sub for it, at least as far as I know.

I think that's how they got around it with DC Universe Online as well.
If you're confident that a Type-0 localization is being worked on and you already own the game on UMD, why buy it again? Last Ranker seems like the better choice.
I want to transfer my UMD version to my Vita. It's still something I'd like to play in the meantime until the English version comes out.

Hi guys, another longtime lurker here who just finally approved. What better way to celebrate than to thank you all for your enthusiasm and advice!
I'm a portable gamer at heart, nostalgia from my first days of gaming on the original Gameboy, so I bought a Zelda edition 3DS for myself back in December. At the time I hadn't heard much about the Vita and honestly didn't pay it any attention. After I began to see more content on the system, I fell in love. Luckily my amazing girlfriend ended up getting me one a few months ago and this thread was been a big help with games/accessories/sales/etc.
I've gone a little crazy already... I currently own my Vita, a 16 gb memory card, 4 retail games, a bunch of PSP games, and a few PSN games. I also have 8 games preordered at the moment! Persona 4, VLR, LBP, AC3L, Jet Set Radio, Soul Sacrifice, PABR, and CODBO2D. I might cancel a few because I doubt I'll have time to play them all. Will be buying Sound Shapes and RCR day 1 as well.

I used to have crazy vertical lines too when I first got my Vita at launch. They're pretty much gone now. Don't know what the were or why they were there.

They're easily see-able on solid darker colors, like browns, greens, and blues (for me). They aren't pronounced as much as it looks like someone drew some barely noticeable vertical lines over the artwork of the game.
I feel like I'm subliminally being mocked for buying crystals. I'll never live this down.I played ToMB for like 30 minutes. It was somewhat entertaining, even though I'm very much not a fan of Bejeweled. I might've kept going even, but when I suddenly felt the slightest tinge of an urge to buy-in, that signaled to me it was time to GTFO.

Be glad that you're playing the patched version. Its much more manageable now. May I suggest un-equipping everything for a little while and playing like that? You'll be surprised how many crystals you can earn this way, and you can get some impressive scores even still.

Thank you. I preordered it at Best Buy online (I'm Canadian) for $30 during their E3 sale. It's definitely a preorder for the retail game but it could be a mistake on BB's part I guess. I've heard it's releasing in summer but the current place holder date on their site is Feb 2013...
Hah, not at all. More of a trained impulse on my part to protect my meagre finances. For the same reason, I stopped playing Triple Town, a game which I actually quite like. I just can't deal with this shit. :/

I find myself in a tricky situation... Last Ranker is 1600 yen... and Final Fantasy Type-0 UMD passport is 1500 yen.... ( ._.) I need 100 more yen.
Tweeted you while I was out but I'm home now so I'll post here to make sure you see it - FF Type-0 UMD Passport is only 1,000 yen, so you don't need a new card.

So any impressions of the nyko power grip for vita?
i love it for my 3ds, but with the clamshell design, i can strut around the 3ds without a case just fine. Vita + power grip seems like something that won't fit in most cases. Hmmmm.

I just wanted to say I absolutely love being able to take in game screenshots with the vita. Whoever at sony decided that should be a regular feature is a genius.
Now if they coul ever add some sort of time tracker (like on the 3DS)
