Hey man, I'm really sorry about that, and to the team, especially, as well. I did not receive any sort of PM from anyone - though I can't exactly prove that I guess... If you sent it to me on Xbox, I haven't had access to it for a while, sadly. If I was online, it was likely my younger brother.
I did say a few times that I was going on vacation and was fine with someone replacing me in the tournament.

Call of Duty 4- brilliant
World at War-terrible campaign, good multiplayer
Modern Warfare 2- good campaign, terrible multiplayer
Black Ops- terrible campaign, good multiplayer
Modern Warfare 3- average campaign, "what the fuck is this shit" multiplayer
At least IMO. Spawning into some random kid's killstreak while he shouts homophobic slurs just is not fun to me.
The weirdest thing is is that that happens A LOT in MW3's multiplayer. I can't even believe it's a common occurence. It's so terrible.
edit: wow, that post came off a lot more angry than I meant it to be, lol. Add me on XBL, my gamertag's the same as my gaf name. I'd be down for Black Ops or some MW3 Spec Ops survival. Been playing a bunch of that.

Been lurking for a few months, (junior)member since a week ago.
Played all Halo's, since 2002.
Never played H2 on XBL, something i wish i didn't miss out on.
Got a 360 for halo3 at Christmas '07, played a shit-ton, practically didn't have the disk leave my console for 2 years. Got a few 50's; SWAT, Slayer and Snipers. Still 49 in dubs :/.
Most of my Halo3 time was spent in MLG custom games with fellow kiwis and aussies (i'm from New Zealand.

Played a butt-load of Reach when it first came out, but that "new-hotness" sensation wore off after a few months and i've barely played it this year at all.
Looking forward, i'm excited about halo4. Might not be the most competitive halo, but i'm fine with that. From what i've seen it looks amazing, certainly more fun to play than Reach.
P.S I'm a 21yo, male, Caucasian, work as a Radiographer/Metals Testing Technician, gamer

Thanks. To be honest I haven't really been keeping up with the thread since I left and figured the tournament would have been finished by the time I came back - so I wasn't really in the right mindset. I now see that it was just the other day I was supposed to play. I'll make sure I have everything in order before I commit to something like that again. Then again, bad rep is bad rep. Sorry guys =/

only thing i disagree with is MW2's campaign - imho it's as average as MW3's
in defense of BlOps' SP i have to say: IMHO the boat ride was brilliant, as was the gulag/prison escape.

It all depends on the map, but I sort of feel the same way. The power ups are so damn good. I told Colin to stop choosing weapons and always go with power ups and he noticed a similar boost in performance in each game.

Damage seems especially insane. I theorized it would make the BR/DMR a 4sk, but it seems to double your damage?

How are those any different from something like Camo/OS? I think they're pretty slick additions and would've been a perfect addition to move the franchise forward with the classic playlists by having them as pickups.
