Play this game on PC, guys. "Thou will understand one day." I know I cannot wait to get sucked back in with all of the new content on PS3. I just feel dread at the thought of everything else that will not get played once I do. As once you start playing this game, it grabs you and will not let go. It was the same with Demon's Souls.

What kind of balance changes are needed?

Somehow patch bottomless box issue so people don't have literally 70 divine blessings to use in multiplayer, edit how poise works, possibly change something about backstabs, fix the new infinite item glitch, fix the dragon + bow backstab glitch, blah blah.

Yes, it looks like it's coming to all platforms, found a little information about the DLC for the 360/PS3 here:

Xbox 360 and PS3 owners will soon have a reason to take Dark Souls off the shelf. Namco will be releasing the "Artorias of the Abyss" DLC pack this winter on consoles.

"Artorias" adds a new chapter to the game's campaign. A darkness in the forests of Ooolacile is threatening to swallow up the entire kingdom and it falls to the players to stop this menace. The new content features fresh areas, enemies, and items. Catch a glimpse of them in the screenshots below.

This DLC pack also includes more accessible form of player-versus-player content. A new matchmaking system will quickly find other competitors for 1v1, 2v2, and four-player free-for-alls. This bonus PvP feature should help you justify Artorias's $14.99 (1200 MS Points) price.

They are estimating the new content to be about 10 hours long.
