that's actually a smart move by nintendo. to avoid going third-party they only make pack-ins from now on.

Out of curiosity and a desire to develop a unifying definition for the term, which of the titles listed do you consider shovelware? Some do look shoevelwareish, but I don't see it as "frightening" compared to other launches.

This. There is no way Ubisoft isn't going to have a few titles out on the day the system launches. I could see them spreading their titles out a bit though.

Looking at the list, personally, not at all. Maybe a single title I'm interested in that I'm seeing.
Admittedly, it's a good amount of software in the launch window.

12/12/12 launch would probably be useful for marketing purposes (as an easy to remember launch date), and from what I've heard the Wii U is far from being released in two months time.

Well... every parent is pretty much guaranteed to purchase it along side the Wii U when it launches. I guess that entitles it to be a KA.

It's one of the worst-kept secrets of recent memory. This is precisely why I expect Nintendo to treat its official announcement as the most surprising thing ever.
There's another thread claiming a Nov 18th launch. Maybe they'll use 12/12 in Europe?

You know, I didn't notice that... pretty much confirms it then, if we weren't sure already. Will buy, maybe.
Unless something goes horribly wrong after the demo, ZombiU is shaping up to be a fantastic game.

December launch of a console is a bad idea. The old adage is if it's not out before Thanksgiving, it might as well be an afterthought.
