October Nintendo Direct Prediction and Speculation

I know it's time for our bimonthly Nintendo Direct, so I would like to launch a early hype train for it and hopefully we wouldn't crash.

Here is my prediction,
I predict that Our Nintendo Direct would happens on 10.26.12
 
-GBA, NeoGeo Pocket Color, Turbo Express support for VC.
-More eShop original stuff
-Details on accounts and Miiverse integration.
-Custom Icons for Folders (Floating consoles, etc)

That's all I need.

Not a good way of starting a Hype Train.

Meh, dunno, i think only Retro working on a 3DS title (alongside their Wii U one) would be the thing that could get me hyped.

Let that sink in for a bit.
 
All of these mini Nintendo directs scare and confuse me. They were big events that I could easily spot before, but now I can't be arsed to keep up with all the small updates that would have normally been a youtube video or traditional announcement before.

It's living up to it's name: Nintendo directly telling us junk. The random ones don't diminish the big ones though.
 
I predict watching Nintendo Direct through the Wii U gamepad with MiiVerse integration is going to be freaking awesome.


And Hopefully we'll see something like that soon.

I expect much of the NYC Press conference to be repeated with a few updates on some games and a dive into the Miiverse online structure(basically a detailing of their online strategy). Some more price points. 3DS game highlights for the next few months. Maybe an unconfirmed 3DS game. That's about it. December Nintendo Direct should have more Wii U game/feature announcements of upcoming games and the rest of the launch window schedule(to end of March 2013).

On a side note: Would love to see some eShop indie game releases talked about and maybe some footage of Pikmin 3 as a sneak peak.

If you haven't preordered a Wii U yet... what's wrong with you?
 
There will certainly be one that resumes everything about Miiverse, eShop and extra features about the Wii U. They just have to.

That's because they are mini. When there's a full length one you will hear about it because they will make more fuss about it. The one tomorrow by NOE is a full length one about 3DS.
 
We have just to know when there will be the Investor Meeting this month. And then we can speculate more precisely about when it'll happen, since it'll be before the Meeting happens.

We probably should make sure Mini is in the titles of those things.
The EU one isn't mini, is it?

The EU is supposed to be a full Nintendo Direct. Most of the ND minis are being put in the title now. To give ppl a notice it's just an update on a specific game or feature instead of a full briefing
 
Next one has to, no, WILL, show us all we want to know about MiiVerse and the OS.

Anything less is a waste of bandwidth.
 
Any focus on 3DS is welcome as I will be skipping Wii U this holiday and don't really care about it's features other then Gamepad play.

However if they had any SE annoucements it would probably change that.
 
I predict Wii U Nintendo Direct between October 10-20, it will be about the Miiverse, OS, eShop, maybe a few new game announcements.

It will focus on Wii U only and tell us more about their online infrastructure and Miiverse. Will probably also shed some light on those launch window games that haven't been announced yet too.
 
Since Wii HD got locked so I can't discussing Nintendo Direct there so I am going to bring this thread back.

I suspect that we are getting Nintendo Direct next week or two weeks. I know that we got our BiMonthly Nintendo Direct last year on Oct 21.

That would be awesome indeed!
They should definitely provide a WiiU compatible streaming service for all future events such as Nintendo directs, E3 conferences and whatever, hopefully implementing a party-chat to discuss it without having to turn on the PC.
 
Announce of the account system with the ability to link your 3DS and choose an username before Wii U's launch is all I want.
