I still wouldn't be surprised if it was removed and an OB variant was created to play like Assault since you can score it in goals now.

On Reach and ready to Warthog ;] - Add/Join if you want to play.

That's true. You'd lose the aspect of protecting the bomb while arming though which was always a cool part of the gametype

Yeah that's what I mean, a variant that makes it either instant or arming, etc. with other options. Think of like how Hot Potato is really the bomb but played like Assault.

There is hope.

Seems like even unmarked Mountain Dew can have XP codes, I found an old bottle of White Out from like last week that had a code on the cap.

I'm still bitter that White Out won that contest instead of the one that tasted like Hawaiian Punch.

Yeah 1.5 was Live exclusive. I have no freaking idea how he got 1.5 on a Slim after OXbox Live went down, unless there was a window where attempting to connect still updated Halo 2.

Either way he should be able to acquire and use Tombstone and Desolation if H2 says it's 1.5


updates should have been

the one right after launch - to fix matchmaking

the big update - the one that changed most of halo 2's weapons and enabled DLC. This is the one on the map pack disc. (this is 1.1)

the update that included the fix for the teleporter bug on relic right after all the maps were out (this is 1.2)

the update that enabled Tombstone and Desolation (1.5)

I'm on a slim as well. I used a friend's map pack disc to install the maps a few months ago. I just checked and I am on 1.5 too....weird.

I second all of that. I think maps designers have more possibilities with interactive elements and moving parts of the map too.

It can be designed in game engine and with minimal netcode required for synching of such interactive or moving parts etc.

I've always wanted to see a map be like inside some huge factory or machine like structure where the certain parts of the map are only accessible when parts align correctly. It would be a great way for on map spawns of power weapons, key map positions for snipers and more possibilities.

For the "looking at the lights" part in Halo 4. It would be better to look at each one of Cortana's breasts and other rude parts.

Forerunner time crystals involved. Unless it's packaged with the emulator update for the 360.

My brother has a slim that Halo 2 should have never touched, I'll pop over and see if it's 1.5.

edit: nm i left Halo 2 in Canada
