Well... Reach does retcon stuff but ultimately it does not break FoR. The battle lasts two weeks instead of one day. Pillar of Autumn is in different place for a certain time.
EDIT i don't like the retcon though.

The stopping power, IMO, should slow you down to walking speed (which is what I think is does from the vids I've watched), nothing less because you're still in the Sprinting animation, there's no reason to make you even slower than walking speed when you can't shoot.
It's really all about personal taste obviously, but in a game with fast kill times it's not much of a problem. Imagine CoD without Sprint? Sprint in Halo Reach was flawed because the killtimes were too long, no bleedthrough, no slowdown, etc., but hopefully Halo 4 doesn't have that consistent problem when you couple the improvements of faster kill times and the slowdown mechanic.

I meant MW when I said CoD with its barrage of different loadouts lol.. but I agree, it's all in your personal taste but I don't think that game would've hurt from Sprint either ;]
I'm sure you'd agree though that Sprint is much less detrimental to gameplay in a game with fast kill times over a game like Halo 3 or Reach.

I can buy a crapload of DEXP codes for out-of-US members if you guys want. I'd be pretty cool if I could get reimbursed through the game though. Say, 50 matches for the Locus helmet (provided the skin isn't the only thing pre-order exclusive) and 25 for an oceanic helmet. I'll be having a little ARG for a project of mine tonight and you can net some doubleEXP codes from that too.
