I'd say Liverpool are slightly more hated than Manchester United. At least in the EPL.

I believe just 1 guy said something about antifootball, and even then he only said it because of the several posts before his claiming Barca cheated and don't deserve to win etc.

To be honest, I hear that sometimes when it comes to football. The Scots, Irish and English at times don't have much love for one another. It stems from the Catholic/Protestant problems back in the days I'm guessing. It'll be interesting to see what the mods make of it.

It's only Neogaf. I can't be bothered that someone doesn't like the Irish.

Racism based on skin colour is another matter though.

On a fully serious note, I think Chicha deserves a start against Chelsea on Sunday. Not least because traditionally he's genuinely lethal against them.

Yes you are right, we are the ones huffing and puffing with hate. We won and people get angry, as per usual. This time especially odd, no referee favours, Celtic defended well, we scored in the last minute and won. Nothing else.

This is the point, I think. It's the way some fans (not all) feel that Barca DESERVE to win every game that frustrates a lot of people.

Has anyone mentioned that Giggs was completely anonymous when he came on? The game just passed him by.

I don't know where you live, so I don't want to sound too patronising, but in the UK, outside of the legions of glory hunting gorps lining the country, United are by far the most despised football team.

It has nothing to do with people not liking Liverpool, that's a completely separate point, and not one I'm contesting.

Yeah, even as a Barça fan, I don't understand the Anti-football notion. Even if i don't like the overly defensive play of some teams (or rather coachs as Milan of the late 90s had some of the best defencive lines and that was a sight to behold), against Barça it's one of the only ways to get points-apart if you have some really good midfield/attack

I think most neutrals couldn't care less about Liverpool. No neutral likes a team that always wins. Man U are definitely the most hated team in the EPL.

Sad to see Chicharito's double is eclipsing Guardado's great game over this side of the pond. :/ Both are key players for our national team.

Giovani had a great match yesterday too. Hopefully they keep this streak into next year when Mexico has to face three competitions.
