I just remember Ronaldo outmuscling 4 of my players, running straight through my midfield and defence and hitting into the net. But since then I've been sorting out opponents and handing beatings of biblical proportions.
The thing about FIFA is, win or lose, you rarely come across players who you think are genuinely good (or better) than you. Just played some dude now. Couldn't get the ball off him. Wish I could play like that

I'd hope casualties are at a minimum because they've had plenty of warning, but it hasn't hit land yet and thats when it'll shit things up. Passed by me on Thursday and Friday, just got misty rain and heavy winds. 45-50 mph

I liked it but is not that "amazing".
Lambert is an good manager but I'm not sure he's what Aston Villa need. And the Bent situation is mind boggling.

Yeah, I was really optimistic preseason. Its been a tough smack back to even worse results as last season.
Yeah, that's basically how I felt about it too. I liked Jake Gyllenhaal though, :lol. Kind of disappointing when you consider the director (David Bowie's son!) also did Moon; Source Code was a bit more Hollywood, slightly dumber sci-fi in comparison.
Also, I highly recommend Cloud Atlas. It was seriously impressive; very funny, very engaging, some stunning cinematography. It doesn't all add up quite perfectly, but it's just such a great experience.

Off topic but what did you make of our game against QPR?
Yeah. I sense a tough season coming up for Villa but they are best served to sell Bent, get some money, and reinvest it into players who Lambert wants. Going to struggle if things stay as status quo.

Lets divise a formula to decide who deserves to win a football match
g=difference in goal. Each goal is worth 3 points ie. 2-1 win = 3. Own goals are only worth 2,penalties 1.5
s=difference in shots on target. Each shot is worth 1 ie. having 3 more shots on target = 3
m=difference in misses. As above, but each miss is worth 0.5
i=difference in probable squad members who are injured, each injury is worth 1 point ie. If your team has 3 more injuries than the opponent, you get 3 points
b=difference in banned/suspended players. As above, but each player is worth .5
p=penalties. This is where it gets confusing. A scored penalty is worth 1.5, not 2. A missed penalty saved by the keeper is worth 1. A penalty off target is worth 0.5. Each conceded penalty is worth -1 point, regardless of outcome
c=corners. Each won is worth 0.5
f=difference in fouls, each foul commited against your team is worth 0.5
y=difference in yellow cards. As above, but 0.5 becomes 1
r=difference in reds. As above, but 1 becomes 2
n=difference in possession. Each percentage is worth 1 point
a=difference in passing accuracy. Each percentage is worth 0.5
Result: The number which determines the fair result from the chosen teams prspective. Positive number = deserved win. Minus number = deserved loss
The away team starts with a 2 point advantage
So lets take the Liverpool - Man Utd game from earlier in the season, from Liverpool's perspective. Stats taken from the Guardian match report

Waiting to get tired
I only caught the first half, but it seemed like we were back to the Arsenal at the start of the season—pretty solid, creating chances (Wilshere looked promising, still lacking sharpness but you could see his eagerness and that desire is something that was woefully missing against Norwich and Schalke), and missing sitters. 1-0 scoreline... probably a bit flattering since the goal came after a red card, but it's a clean sheet—and I'll take sterile domination any day if it gets us a win. Not the most comforting of results but QPR are a talented side and it'll be good to get a win before heading to Old Trafford where if (and this is a huge fucking if) the team actually shows up, I think there's a big chance that we can take something from that game and hopefully drag ourselves back into the title picture, especially if United drop points tomorrow.

So Liverpool would have Suarez and Gerrard on the cunt list (-2) and 4 in the second category (Suarez, Johnson, Henderson, Downing,-4)
