Happy Halloween, GAF. In honor of All Hallow's Eve, I'm happy to present the Episode 3 of Gamesies: The (Creep)Show.

We modeled this episode after the movie Creepshow, so this episode consists of 3 individual ~spooky~ stories, plus the standby In-depth Reviews and Favorite Games bits. We've got bits inspired by "They Live" and "Silent Hill", plus one bit that didn't work all that well. We were also fortunate enough to get Favorite Game entries from Benjamin Rivers (developer of the excellent "Home") and Dr. Mike Capps (from Epic Games), so I hope you enjoy. Special, special thanks to GAF's own AgentWhiskers for providing us with some of the music - check out his new album's thread here.

PLUS. For GAF only, we're giving away one physical copy of Silent Hill: Book of Memories for the Vita. The giveaway's open to everyone worldwide. I've never heard of this...The SH:BoM giveaway drew me in, but the concept of the show has me intrigued. I will check this out after work!
 
Yeah, the Silent Hill one was pretty funny. I thought the Gears of War twitter response was pretty hilarious though.
 
I'll have to give this a watch. Creepshow is great though. Watch it every Halloween.

EDIT- I'll have to concur with my GAF bros and say the nurse segment was the best.

As much as I loved the nod to They Live, gotta hand it to the Silent But Deadly segment.
 
lmao the COD IS GOD and the best buy guy smiling as he ran through the store got me.
Pretty damn funny overall. The last one was kind of a miss imo but in the second skecth the girl saying "OMG I love your top" was funny and unexpected. You guys are funny as hell.
 
Finally watch this and it was pretty good

My favorite part was in "Phoned In" how nonchalantly he calls the police.

I enjoyed this episode a lot. The music was great. I definitely like the way the stories were handled, and the comic book transitions as well.
 
Best episode so far! Loved the one sentence thematically in-depth reviews a-bridged. hehehe As for the favorite sketch, I loved COD almighty with the 3D glasses from hell muahuahuahua. But Han has the funniest facial expressions in the silent but deadly skit. Kudos.

edit: Just wanted to say that the last bit felt a bit phoned in.

Glad you guys are liking it so far. My personal favorite bit is the opening They Live sketch, but I'm glad the SH bit went over well. I think we can all agree that the last sketch sucks.

Had no idea what this was till i came across this so i decided to start from episode one and just finished the 4th episode and i have to say i really enjoy this. The production value seems a lot better from the first episode. The music choices is great and the skits continue to get funnier.

This is something i can see myself continuing to seek out to watch and the selfish side of me wants a new episode every single week. It kind of reminds me of that coop show that turned into area 5 i think? Yeah it reminds me of that but good. Subbed to your YT, liked your FB and followed you on twitter and it probably doesn't mean much to you but i rarely do the FB/Twitter/Sub thing to people.

I wish we could do it weekly, but it does take a bit of time to write, shoot, and (especially) edit everything together. Plus, we've got day jobs :(

Really though, thank for subscribing/following - we appreciate everyone that follows us, it's the best way we know to spread the show around.

Yeah the Silent But Deadly sketch was brilliant/best. SHALLOW TURD! I was dying every time those little pictures came up.

I also really enjoyed the whole Call of Duty sketch, but I did like Silent but Deadly more.

Really enjoying your show, never watched it until now. I'll share it on my feeds, see if my friends/colleagues bite :)
 
I can't believe more aren't saying the They Live/COD skit was the best. Really funny and a clever take on that movie. Glad I checked this out.
 
The CoD skit was the best. I laughed quite a lot! Don't enter me in the contest though, don't have Vita.

Have you contacted all the major sites/blogs/other youtubers? That could get the word out faster. I feel like you guys should have more success than what you're getting now. It's an entertaining show despite being a bit sparse on actual game info/in-depth impressions.

The nurse was probably the original blind date + a mask. :)

Also it's good to see curly hair dude (Sexton?) cut it shorter. Looks much better, good decision.

Yeah, I've been submitting every episode to gaming blogs (Kotaku, Joystiq, Destructoid, etc), but haven't had much of a response. Kotaku did post our first episode, mainly due to Fahey being in it. Only downside was that they didn't actually put our show name in the post, so it didn't spread the word on the show as much as I'd hoped. It was awesome of them to put it up on the site, though.

I've just started sending the shows around to sites like GameTrailers, Machinima, Escapist, etc, but haven't heard back from anyone yet. If you all have any suggestions for sites to submit to, I'd be more than happy to hear them.

Yeah short hair works better on you. I also noticed a huge improvement in your editing and acting compared to the first episode. It's great to see the progress you guys are making with this show as you start to get more comfortable and in the groove of things.
