Yep the plan was obviously a 2nd November release.

Hopefully we get it today. But I notice they haven't been active on Twitter since the 2nd

It's 09.53 in New York atm so maybe we'll get it today.

Perhaps, but if their schedule is messed up they might not have time. If pre-orders start today, just putting a trailer out with "Pre-Order Today" at the end will immediately gather traction and hype. It's going to get millions of hits regardless so a countdown, while typical, isn't a necessity.

1. You play as Albert DeSilva a half American half Puerto Rican
2. He is 42 years old and has an ex-wife and two kids
3. The show Breaking Bad has a little influence on the game, as Albert is drawn to the life of crime from an older age for the money
4. You also play as Dougie Vejo a younger criminal just coming up in Los Santos
5. Los Santos is the only large city, smaller towns round out the countrtyside
6. Grove Street makes a return, however Carl and Sweet are not in the game
7. Money plays a large part as Albert lost most of his in a ponzi like scheme
8. Property buying is back
9. The only customization for characters are clothes/hair/facial hair.
10. No gyms or tattoos
11. One or more characters from (GTA) 4 may show up
car customization is back, seems more fitting for Dougie however Albert may be going through a midlife crisis
12. The triumphant return of Lovefist!!! or as the band is now known as the Jezzies
13. Songs confirmed so far: My Michelle-Guns and Roses, Magic Power- Triumph, California 14. Dreaming – The beach boys and Beautiful-Snoop Dogg featuring Pharrell
15. New mini games include golf, tennis and surfing
16. Mission played was called “Alimony” featured the scene from the trailer in which they rob the jewelry store
17. Robbery returns only for Dougie, dispensaries are a large source of cash income
18. You can switch between Albert and Dougie by holding down the back button(360)
19. Game autosaves at that point
20. Stinger makes a return
21. Speculated not confirmed Aziz Ansari voices radio DJ for current hip-hop station

Site's working fine for me. 10:49 here in NY. I'm keeping an eye on their YT channel and hoping we get something by 11. Been playing GTA III on my iPhone - forgot how freaking brilliant that game was. Really boosted my excitement for GTA V.

Edit: Ah, okay. Site's in the shits now. "Technical difficulties."

Don't expect a countdown since this will be based off their regular schedule.

well as the note they sent out said the trailer should be released already before november 5, i think they're doing the best they can to release it today.

I don't know why everyone thinks they're prepping a trailer for release right now.

Sure, one might have been planned for the 2nd or whatnot, but there's been a fucking hurricane and power outages. Jeez, give them a break.

Rockstar comment on the pre-order news page - "We know you're all very excited for the next GTA V trailer, and we'll have more info to share with you all on that very soon."

Could be any day really. Just going to get excited for Game Informer and just be pleasantly surprised when the trailer pops up!

GTA IV had one the weirdest CEs but it was probably the most useful of any CE. You got a duffel bag and a little strong box. I would have kept them if the name was not on them.
