They haven't given a concrete number about the number of DLC characters. I don't think they know themselves at this point. I think as long as the game is selling and the demand for DLC is there they will keep bringing them.

Well, if Ryu gets in, you now have representatives of most that action game type! Dante, Kratos, Raiden (which I see as representing Platinum action games), and Nariko (yep). Anyone I missed?

Emmet will probably jump into a hawk for his level 3 and likely have the ability to drop a sentry down for either a super or advanced move. He's got a knife for melee and the usually weaponry, so he'll probably end up somewhere between Sackboy and Radec in terms of moves.

1st party: Chimera, (*sigh*) Jennifer Tate and maybe something from PS1 like Robbit, Alundra or even Vibri.
3rd party: Abe/Tomba/Disagea character (the creators actually want em in), Ezio/Connor (I'm a lil surprised for no on-disc rep since they put AC stuff in every game ever) and Snake. I don't think Crash/Spyro will be happening cause of Activision.

I remember somebody mentioned James Bond who is also a Activision character. So we get Crash Spyro and James Bond. in the Activision Bundle for 15$
Would be hilarious if true.
I'm assuming you have to buy a PS3 in order to get that price. Bleh.

I'm in the same boat actually, I don't think that's weird. I've been looking forward to the game but didn't plan on buying it day one because it comes out on the same day as P4G...but now that it's clear that they've got the fans in mind and are at least working on what I know will be my fave character, I'm gonna make sure I get it Day 1.
It'll only be a few days old at that point. $60 is pretty reasonable.

This could be what she gets:
Level 1: that gravity corkscrew attack that locks onto enemies. Kills one person.
Level 2: Gravity Typhoon. Covers a wide horizontal area, but it projects for a second and can easily be jumped over. Hits multiple people.
Level 3: Kat's shadow cat form thing, where she goes YAAAAAAAH! hard to steer but can kill multiple opponents. 4 or more kills if done right. or just 4, yep.

What if they arent the only two characters? Remember, these are just the two announced way before they are even done. If Superbot is dedicating their team for post-content, and if they can get their hands on more first party titles, they can work two more characters for free. I do not see Kat/Graves being rivals, but the nature of this announcement is that these two are publicly being worked on

First good marketing decision in a long time. Announce the wierd marketing like character no one asked for the same time as the fan favorite which everyone was asking for but didn't know for sure would ever be in. It would have been insanity if Graves was announced before Kat.
In anycase its nice to have one character that I personally really enjoy to be in this game. Makes me feel better about getting it.

Not quite for me, but almost. I'm really unsure about PASBR, but having Kat in there puts me right on the fence. She's a great character and it's great to see Sony acknowledging her in this, and for free also.
Hopefully her costumes will be available in some capacity, too

Every character in the game has 2 alt costumes (along with colors) and Seth just recently told that ''possible dlc characters'' would have the same content as characters on disc.

So this means they'll be free next year... excellent, that means I really can delay my purchase of PSABR. I just can't afford to get both that and P4G on the same day :\ Soon though! VERY exciting news, these are much welcomed additions. I wonder if they'll show off how they play before hand?

She's not Sliced Bread, but she's a quirky Female Hero from a new IP with a cool moveset and morals reminicent of Classic Comic Book Heroes. She's also one ore unique designed characters (with fanservice going back and forth on both spectrums) but overall a really cool female main character.
I hope her antigrav isn't relegated only to her supers. Id totally love to stop in mid air and fly kick in any direction.

She's cute and humble in personality, and pretty badass in battle. She's just a really pleasant and likeable character so lots of people wanted to see her in the game.

Kind of an inane statement. I liked her because she seemed good natured and generally wanted to help people. Was funny and lighthearted (which outside of Nintendo games seems increasingly rare in games today). Not particularly deep in her back story because of the amnesia deal but I certainly didn't like her because she was in just a 'towel'.

She also has a really unique set of fighting moves and powers, which is why I think so many wanted her for All Stars.
Also, we have another great battle on our hands now thanks to this DLC. Kat versus Cole: the battle of the open-world super heroes.
