Actually it was mostly because of people joining chat and begging people for free shit in pms. That was way more annoying than the giveaways being subverted, it was just the giveaways that drew them in.

I usually just post givaways locked to the SteamGaf group but today I got a winner who didn't even know that Gaf is a forum lol. And I usually don't even ask just send the code and be done with it. Will be requesting a new winner on this one though.

Was it zaBut by any chance? He came crying to me about it. Tried to explain to him pretty succinctly why he wasn't getting the gift, and why I wouldn't invite him back. I gave up after the 3rd try.
Yeah, my last two giveaways were won by the same person and I'm pretty sure they're not actually on GAF. Screw it. From now on I'm posting private links.

I've said this before but I'll just say it again, confirm the trade here. I mean if a gaffer wins a game and doesn't even bother saying thanks in this thread he shouldn't be winning it in the first place. If you can't confirm it here just give me the steam usernames and I'll kick them from the group.

It was this person. She's been polite and thanked me both times, but it was through email, and when I said I don't know who she is, she said she doesn't know who I am either so I take that to mean she didn't find the giveaways on GAF.

He/she had a friend on the group that politely understood and got removed, waiting for her to reply.
i suppose at some point I should ask for an invite to the steam group to find people to play Magic 2013 and some other random games with lol
also my legendary steamgift closed and I emailed the winner (LGPounder congrats on winning) the code so hopefully everything goes well there. i didn't mind the system so I will likely run something like 25 indie days of christmas which I will make private links for people and share them to clear out some of my extra indie game codes.

Just a heads up, Mominito is not a GAFer, he had already been kicked but I guess Steamgifts hasn't synched that yet.
Anyway, went on a kicking spree over what seemed to be obvious lurkers on the most recent giveaways.

You should contact him. On his steamgifts profile you'll find his steam ID and email. Add him on Steam, send an email with the key or use the gifting function if the game is in your inventory.
