Unless it is a group giveaway, which means any member of the group can directly sign in from the main website.

I would say hiding is useless unless you make the giveaway private: anyone can enter, but, if there is no leak, the link is only known to people who can quote a post.
 
Anyone know a panaa or TDOTN?

Won my Metro giveaway but has "last seen 336 days ago" on Steam. Bah, and I already rerolled once on this giveaway as the last winner wasn't a Neogaf member.

so given the last two giveaways ended with only 9 entries I figured I should offer a bit better game, given it's the game that will end on thanksgiving and I want someone to be thankful for it lol so lets see if I can't just break the 10 entry mark with Pixeljunk Eden

Good luck with that or the next several re-rolls being an actual gaffer. Group giveaways are borked if you actually intend to be exclusive to real gaffers.

Edit for clarity: I gave up after 6-7 rerolls on my Torchlight group giveaway, and that had 80 entries, not 145. From what I have seen, we probably have around 40 real posters paying attention to this thread.

You login directly through the official Steam page so it's secure.

I've been cleaning them up, last few giveaways made had mostly gaffers (minus a couple of them I'm not really sure)

Ok, regarding this giveaway, SausageMister is not a gaffer, was already removed, but was still able to join because it probably hasn't synched yet.

So how does this work? New steam user here. I just joined but I don't understand what are points, the FAQ's do not help (or I'm to tired to understand anything)
 
I don't think I need to do the quote to reveal since it's limited to the Steam group, but here it is anyway in a quote to reveal post!

Points accumulate over time as people create more giveaways. You spend your points to enter giveaways (more expensive games cost more points to enter). You don't get them back afterwards, you spend them for the chance to win and then they are gone, and accumulate again with time.
 
1) Why am I not in the steam group anymore? I was going to do a STALKER giveaway ad I really wanted to try my luck at Witcher 2. That's odd.

2) I did a giveaway and as soon as it ended sent a key to the winner and it's been three days since and he hasn't confirmed. I've tried adding him as a friend on steam to ask see whats up and he never accepts. Should I be worried or should I give it some more time?

One thing I like about Steamgifts is looking at a giveaway and seeing "exists in your account" and totally forgetting you owned it until that moment.
