Can you please send me a message as soon as you log on Steam? Because between Steamgifts downtimes, checking if you're a gaffer, trying to send you a gift through mail that *inexplicably* doesn't work (or so you claim), closing this giveaway is turning is some damn challenging stuff right here.

As soon as you are online just PM me on Steam and I will trade the game to you personally.

Hi guys, I've been a bit busy with work lately so what did I miss, are you filtering the users from the Gaf groups or something? I might be planning to give away some of my unused steam keys this Christmas so if you decided on a new rule or something to ensure that only gaffers can participate let me now or update the OP, thanks

The GAF group used to be open to join but after a few gaffers complained that their group giveaways were won by non-gaffers who were in the group, the group was set to invitation only. Metalmurphy has been doing a great cleansing of the Steam group to get rid of all the phoneys.

Hmm, so my giveaway was won by http://steamcommunity.com/id/superfluffykitty/ but apparently it is one of the people removed from the group but not yet synced out.

Ugh, I should've just done a private link or a quote like I always do. I'll wait for word from Metal (or the winner through here of course) just to be 100% sure, but I'll try re-rolling soon if not.

This is actually a great idea because,

1) it's easier -.-
2) I never wanted the other group to be GAF exclusive, more like a GAF and friends kind of thing. It'll still be private, but people can invite their friends that may or may not have a steam account.


And as such, it has been done!

Before people start posting lots of requests here just wait a bit. :P I already have quite a few marked as gaffers and I'm sending invites as we speak. :P Chances are you don't need to ask to join.

I only did it because I never joined the previous one, had too many non-GAF peasants.

NeoGAF and Dota2-GAF are the only GAF related groups I'm in. :o
 
Good idea, send an invite :-) Lately i've been having lots of extra work making giveaways for gaf with "fake gaffers" winning.

Same name on steam as on gaf.
 
Does your profile need to be public for this? I'm still not completely sure how this works after reading, is it like a contest type of thing? How do you participate? Can you transfer games that you already have into gifts btw?
