the first post is lifeless, a shadow of its former self, and largely unwanted by the masses. i thought it would be perfect for Halo 4.

Even if the Halo Charts data was not accurate regarding 'peak' - as long as it is consistent, the trends should be the same.

Even just showing peak skews the chart you are looking at. Of course the peak would be higher near launch. What you need is the exact number of unique players per day and the number of total number of games played per day. Peak is not the number of player playing per day, you're looking at the wrong trend to ascertain the population numbers. Fuck statistics 101.

Theoretically this holds true but feed systems, caching and no official support can create all sorts of weird data. I'm not trying to debunk Halo Charts, I appreciate what they do but I am saying their numbers and/or trends could be inaccurate. That's all.

What did it do? And I read something about KOTH getting cut? When was all that announced?

• Fixed glitch where sprinting prior to activating the Hardlight Shield allowed players to move faster
• Fixed glitch were players could throw a grenade and then immediately sprint afterwards to perform a high velocity grenade
• Fixed glitch where Mantis could fire more rockets without reloading if the machine gun was fired partway through unleashing the charged missile barrage
• Fixed issue where DLC was unavailable for other profiles on the same console
• Fixed issue where DLC disappeared after console reboot
• Fixed issue where players could not unlock Campaign completion achievements when using a rally point other than Alpha for any mission to finish the Campaign
• Fixed issue where players were not given credit for completion of a Spartan Ops Episode Difficulty Challenge when completing it through Matchmaking
• Fixed issue where players with 99 or more Xbox LIVE friends could not get File recommendations
• Fixed issue where loadout configurations were lost if the game was booted and then powered off before passing the “Press START” screen
• Fixed issue where attempting to upload large films to the File Share under poor network conditions caused the upload to fail
• Improved time to load variants with separate profiles
• Fixed issue where moving a profile from one controller port to another after relaunching the game reset loadout settings
• Improved consistency of random ordnance navigation marker display
• Fixed performance issues when launching Halo Waypoint from Halo 4

So what we are doing is naturally evolving directions Halo is going in, improving on things we should have done better on last time and building on experiences appropriate to what audiences want.

And yeah, those TU updates are cool, but I hope they get to some of the other big issues real soon. Like, realllll soon.

Going to try and revise my old "weapon chart" I did a bit before halo 4's release as a foundation for my weapon sandbox.

I'm thinking about having on-map pickups include short-range power weapons (shotguns), mid-range (such as SAWs), and mid-to-longer range ones (but not Snipers, I'll elaborate later). This would leave all the other power weapons in either Global or Personal Ordnance.

I'd LOVE for there to be different ordnance pods depending on the faction. Covenant could get Halo 3-style Weapon Holders and Forerunners could use something new.

On a serious note it would be nice for 343i or XBL to actually do a consistent comparison of daily unique users and total games played per day across Halo 3, Reach & Halo 4. That's a statistic comparison I would actually care about.

While king of the hill is fun, it's ruined with instant respawn.
Gone is the decision of whether of not to stay in the hill, or evade and try to stay alive, since you can die and reach the hill so fast now it's pointless.

Ranks, MLG playlist, no instant respawn and I'd enjoy this game a lot more than I currently am.

Im not holding my breath though.

Holy shit, I can't believe those bullet points are real. "Still-unmatched social multiplayer options"? I mean, sure, they're way worse than Reach's, but sure, why not? :lol

Can you change the OP to this?
I feel it reflects the UI and overall state of the game.
 
Oh look, I got killed by an invisible camper with a shotgun that looks like a pistol which he spawns with. Oh I'm back instantly but I don't see the red X, Where the fuck is the red X?

I see Spartans flying and everyone has a power weapon, Swords, Shotguns and Saws everywhere.

I can see through walls now except for that guy who has a perk to prevent that. Now when I scope my shot is all over the place when I take fire, it was never like this before, oh there is a perk to stop that too.

So let's see which perk I want to equip to make the game feel exactly the way it used to, except its all different to allow for perks.

This is Call Of, er.. Halo
