Damn you Namco... make more of these :|
Entschuldigung on behalf of my country. It really is awful. Hopefully it's a sticker
...but Namco would be making the special edition.Namco didnt make it, they are just publishing it in the west. In Japan it was published / developed by Level 5

In order to make more they would have to start by making one.

I am referring to the fact that they aren't producing enough wizard's editions, they cut off pre-orders months ago. In Europe they seem to be getting a larger supply (plus selling them on amazon which US gamers never got the option for)
Don't know if it's just me but Ni No Kuni doesn't bring anything up on Zavvi now, looks like they've sold out. Hope they have enough to cover the preorders they took.
Edit - just checked The Hut, nothing there either.
I'm all for rare CEs, but why can't they manufacture enough to meet preorder demand?
Damnit. Why do I have to jump through so many hoops for this? I wasn't sure I wanted it when they first announced it, but after playing the demo I immediately decided to preorder it only to find the CE was gone. I preordered the German version for 90 Euros (is that less than $100?). Last year I got the German version of the Xenoblade bundle as well...

I've got a few preorders for this just in case Amazon flakes out on me, so I may have a couple spare when it comes out. I'd be happy to help people out if they miss out, but I think the shipping from NZ would be a bit crazy. Just thought I'd throw that option out there for people though.
Yeah, if they did this through GameStop or Amazon I'd have pre-ordered ASAP and just canned if it ended up not sounding like it was worth it. Really hope Namco Bandai learns from this and at least goes through online-only via Amazon or GameStop next time. Or perhaps sell through someone other than fucking Digital River.Yeah the handling of this particular one sucked really. I was all about pre-ordering then saw people complaining about digital river and being charged up front (some dropped others it didn't) I said forget it not worth the hassle. I would get this if it was via Amazon or even Gamestop guess I'll settle for the standard edition just playing it is worth it won't use the book anyway.
I would be interested how much is the shipping to the US ?
I'd have no idea until I get it myself sorry, as I'm not sure of the dimensions and weight of it.
I also don't know how many if any of my preorders will fall through so I could end up with anywhere from zero to four copies. I don't trust even Amazon to get this to me without a hiccup :/
Understood, if you do get any please do contact me Thanks
Haven't pre-ordered Ni No Kuni Wizards Edition yet? Minimal numbers are still left in stock with ShopTo and HMV!
I had a close one with my preorder.
When I ordered this in July, the credit card I used was set to expire later this year. Now that my new card has come in, I called up Digital River to give them my new expiration date.
The first person to take my call said updating my info was not possible. The only option would be to cancel my order, and place a new one. I tried to explain that it wasn't possible to order a new one. After getting the run around, I hung up and called again.
The next person to take my call was easily able to change my expiration date. And explained that a test charge will be going on my card in the next few days.
PHEW! I'm glad I called back. Digital River's reputation proves to be true.
From Namco Bandai's twitter:
They've been sold out for a while. =(What about NA?
They've been sold out for a while. =(

I couldn't access any billing or anything for my order on their website. None of the usual passwords I use for sites worked, and when I requested my password be e-mailed to me, it would say my password was some default error message. I can only think that I never actually signed up for an account and ordered without one. Only way I can view my order is with my order number and last 5 of my credit card.you could have done it on the site too..

No idea on the first, but both English and Japanese are on the disc. How long is this game and will it have English voice overs?
You can still pre-order at zavvi and thehut and also shopto, it seems
zavii - http://www.zavvi.com/games/platforms/ps3/ni-no-kuni-wrath-of-the-white-witch-wizard-s-edition/10624958.html
thehut - http://www.thehut.com/games/platforms/ps3/ni-no-kuni-wrath-of-the-white-witch-wizard-s-edition/10624958.html
Still sold out at Amazon though.
I'm having trouble finding info on Zavii's site do they do US shipping?
Dark Souls was pretty bad there, Tales of Grace f was in color, but extremely barebones, and Tales of the Abyss 3DS was black & white and told you to go to the website for the full manual. So, yeah, I wouldn't be optimistic here.Just be wary about Zavi. If your not a patient person, don't order from them. Took me about a month to get Xenoblade when it was EU only and went with zavi.
I wonder what the manual will be like in the collectors tin from GS. I miss color manuals. These days we just get 1 or 2 pages black & white controller instructions.
Stupid question, but will i run into any region issues if try to play PAL Ni No Kuni on my NA PS3?

Yep, same company.Which of these two is more reputable? I thought I'd heard bad things about The Hut.
Edit:Nevermind, same company now?
