Aren't there GFWL games with some Steamworks features like the Rocksteady Batman titles?

I mean it'd be great if Capcom moved on from that shitty stillborn mess of a platform but let's not jump the gun here.
Yes, there are. not many, but few of them.
So let's take that risk in consideration.

Gosh, I guess this outclasses the console versions by a big margin.

Any idea what the lead platform is?

Cool,will buy.

Off topic:is dragon's dogma supposed to come out on PC too?
officially, no. but when someone asked about this to a Capcom guy on twitter, the answer was "Stay tuned" (and then he deleted the twitter, so who knows).

I'm pretty sure Sven has hinted that Capcom is no longer supporting GFWL in 2013 and that they will speak about it more in the future. With Resident Evil 6 being on the Steam store already for months, it's likely that they have either switched to Steamworks or they will do what Rockstar does and have their own system in place with Steamworks features added to the Steam version..

If it's using steam leaderboards I don't see what reason there would be for it to be a gfwl/steamworks hybrid.

360 i think,UE3 and all that.

Hm...might get it on PC, if I get it. I find a lot of 360 games tend to overlap for me if they have a PC version, as the qualities at worst are nearly the same.

Seems like a decent action game, but a criminally boring Devil May Cry title.

That would be great, but I'd like to read his exact words about it. By any chance can you find a link to your source?

Well, this is what he said:

In any event, I <3 Steam as a service and at some point, I'll have news to share regarding that fact.

I thought there was more, since I saw discussions about it on another board. But it seems like people might have added stuff.

What the hell. Lacks some nice AA and textures. Hopefully high-end PC settings are available and will make it better. 1080p+ would be nice though!

UE3 is probably the best engine for forcing AA through drivers with both AMD and Nvidia at this point.

UE3 doesn't support traditional MSAA, as far as I know. If you want good AA you'll have to use supersampling, otherwise it's FXAA. :p Textures look nice to me, though. Grounded expectations and all, this is a console game.

Oddly, the HUD looks like it's much lower res in those PC screens. I hope they look into that, because it's pretty jarring.

What about the dlc?

It'ss authenticated separately on the steam version of the game from steam and xbox.com marketplace. So you can accidentally end up buying the same content twice or if ever locked out from gfwl, would have your gfwl specific dlc unusable unless bought again through steam. For the steam version, any dlc bought through gfwl also has to be specifically downloaded/installed separately outside of steam itself.

Hopefully it's like Dishonored and I can keep 60fps with 4xSGSSAA. (Not holding my breath :p)
