GAF Secret Santa 2012

The anticipation is killing me, not only is it just me waiting for my own SS gift (although that's definitely part of it), but I'm also really curious to know how my TT feels about theirs.

I know what you mean. I'm not terribly excited about my own gift, maybe since it hasn't arrived yet, but I'm more curious to see how my TT likes the gift I picked out for them.
 
Last item for my Tiny Tim came today. Items are wrapped and packed. I'll ship off the package tomorrow. Gonna plunk down for expedited shipping to try and hit Christmas.

This is exactly how I feel. I want to know if my TT loves his items.
 
Received my gift today.

Unfortunately it didn't have any markings on it so I opened it and it was unwrapped inside.

I will post pictures ASAP!

Same! I know my TT got their gift, but hasn't opened it. :)

Can't wait to see what they think. Also can't wait for my gift!
 
Mine came in the mail today. Two rectangular packages and a burrito package. And a letter, which I am to open last.

Man, I felt like the mailman was just fucking with me today. I get home from work, and I see a package on my porch, and my brain starts thinking it's gotta be SS...I look at the box, and it's something for next door -_-
 
I couldn't stop myself from opening the gifts. Sorry lol. I was too excited. I got Adventure Time season 1, The Bro Code from How I Met Your Mother, and Black Diamond Wing Sauce from the Wing Coop in SLC. I've been wanting those DVDs forever and can't wait to watch the special features/commentary. Also excited about the wing sauce. My girlfriend and I are going to make wings tonight to try it. I'll follow-up and let you know how I like it. I haven't seen much HIMYM, but I flipped through the book and it's pretty funny too.

Ah bummer. Would've gotten it for a friend if it were in hardback. Avatar is the boy from Limbo. Artwork is from one of the Humble Bundles where Limbo was offered.
 
Just remembered now that I've changed my avatar for like the first time ever that my old robo avatar featured heavily in some of the stuff I sent.

WOO! got a package in the mail today that says NEOGAF BELIEVE on the side. ^__^ looking forward to seeing what treasures await.

also. Glad to see my tiny tim is pleased. :) it appears to have arrived earlier than I anticipated. My tiny tim last year enjoyed the sauce. Let me know how it goes!
 
Posting tomorrow. Going to try damn hard to make sure it's there in time for xmas, but knowing the Royal Mail it wont be. Apologies TT, but it will be there shortly after, promise!

I got my package today. On a Sunday which is weird. Maybe it got left with one of my neighbors or something yesterday.

Anyway the really weird thing is... My TT is also my SS. We got eachother. Haha. Was that just a weird coincidence or is it that way for everybody? I thought it was all completely randomized.

Anyway, I didn't sign my name on mine because I was going to say who I was on Christmas day. It seems that my TT will probably be able to figure out who I am now though. On Thursday when they get my package.

Definitely a coincidence. There are a few people where SS <-> TT applies, but not many. That's the way it falls sometimes. :)

Dang it now I will know its from you! Haha. Hope you like your gifts! I'd advise to open the tin box before Xmas (I wrapped the gifts so you can open the box) :)

Edit: by before Christmas, I mean as soon as you'd like, but preferably as soon as you can.
 
Updated the first post a little bit! I'm still trying to settle on a cutoff date for the Black List. Keep an eye on things for an update.
 
I hope my SS has sent the gift, considering that my country has quite a shitty custom department.

Sometimes we can get our shipments early, but there were times when it took more than a week before it gets into our hands after it arrives in Malaysia due to it having to be examined. :(
 
Still nothing here either. I always get like a little kid around xmas. Looking in the mailbox everyday, and then so disappointed when it's just my mother's bill for her woman's day subscription >_< What sucks is I'm starting to get worried if my Santa's a no show this year. Only 5 more mailing days before xmas.

Ditto. Though I was PMed that my SS was working on my gift a week or two ago so at this point I don't really mind if the gift doesn't arrive by Christmas since I'm leaving town on Sunday and I won't be back home till the 27th anyways.
 
It's hard to not get anxious having not received anything yet and with the big day 1 week away. There are people every year who either get their stuff late or just never receive anything at all. This year there's that safety fund which is great, but people not ever getting a gift is an unfortunate, reoccurring reality :(

I haven't received anything yet but I hope my TT receives their gift soon too, I'm pretty worried it won't make it. :|
 
Nothing yet on my end from my SS, but my TT gift is going out tomorrow and I can guarantee it's going to get there on time (barring a natural disaster of course).
 
well somehow I missed this, what the hell

customs and shipping fees to here would have probably fucked me anyway :(
 
Dropped my gift off on the 14th, and the tracking info says it went out for delivery today but is not yet listed as "Delivered," but that -should- mean my TT will have his/her gift within the next few hours!
