Samplr is excellent. I emailed the dev about audiobus support and he said he's looking into it.
Audiobus will be icing on the cake. excellent news!

Holy crap, Korg just updated all their apps with audiobus support (and other stuff)

They have been discounted for a while and will remain so until the end of the year.
And animoog updated with audiobus support. Nice
I'm a little confused about MIDI clocks and Audiobus.
When I add Reason and iMS-20 as Inputs and start sequences on them they don't automatically start/stop together or BPM sync. I thought Audiobus would take care of MIDI timing - is there something I need to configure?

I recently picked up a Gear4 PocketLoops midi keyboard. It comes with a free iOS app.

Now, this is just a toy. The keyboard is clicky and cheap, and it has no function apart from the app, with no power supply or audio-out save for the iPhone or Touch. But, it has been a lot of fun making loops. I put on headphones and zone out making noise. I found it at TJ Maxx for $23 and it was easily worth that.
Its pretty useless if you cant use it with other apps.
Moog Filtatron is free

GarageBand now has audiobus support. Pretty big deal to have Apple supporting it.
Me either; I've yet to make anything with it that doesn't sound like angry robot sex. But hey, it's free!I've had this app for a while. I have no idea what to do with it![]()
I don't know much about Maschine... is it more a sequencer/drum pad than a synth?NI just released iMaschine 2 today and it's $5 in the app store until Dec 1st. I've been playing around with it for a little bit on my iPad and what I've seen and heard is pretty cool. This won't replace Beatmaker 2 for me but it has audiobus support which is nice, I assume it has IAA too.
Hey interesting timing, I fired up iMaschine 1 a week or so ago to see how much it had been improved and it hadn't.
I bought Korg Gadget instead and I can't get over how good the workflow and sound are, truly shocked. I haven't touched my DAW since getting it. Can't imagine Maschine 2 will compete but I'll check it out for sure.
