In other news my roommate bought a 54" LED TV (with 3D)

That thing is absurd to play Halo on. We also hooked up the PS3 and played Motorstorm in 3D on it. It was actually pretty damn good. Should find an Anniversary copy up here and try out the 3D in that.

Yup. Also went through a bunch of my 1080p native Xbox games. Perfect Dark, Banjo Kazooie, Banjo Tooie, and Beyond Good and Evil. BG&E was amazing on that. Just about any camera angle on that game was nice enough for a desktop wallpaper.

I could load up Halo 1 GonD for the 4:3 lulz

I think generally shitty and uncivil contributions to discussions have always been a slippery slope, they're just trying to reinforce that since it's gotten a bit worse recently.

They're probably 2 week bans at max.
