I've been poo at updating and posting here, but I received my presents in time for xmas and opened them on the day, huge thanks to Gemüsestäbchen for all my gifts- I loved everything

The Super Dickmanns was the best/worst titled present this year, couldnt stop laughing like a pre-teen at the name. I got some Adventure Time papercraft as well, but I havent made them yet. Thanks again, well happy!

Havent heard anything from my TinyTim yet- hopefully should have arrived by now, if not surely soon :/

Great photos - and really pleased to hear you liked everything!
It was my first time, but I had a lot of fun - sorry I didn't manage to pop a card in there too.

I made all the papercraft for a friend once, took me over a month!
(PRO TIP: Leave the black outline parts on, it keeps it looking like the cartoon)
Do take some photos when you build them up

I have to confess that Super Dickmanns are my favourite gift to send English speakers - so I could not resist!
("Dick" means "Fat" in German if you're curious, though who knows why anyone would call their confectionary "Fatmans" is beyond me)

I still have my Christmass tree so I followed the tradition and placed it under the tree.

When I opened it I found 2 boxes and a HUGE chocolate ... Believe!

Next I opened this gift: A small hint to Zelda just made things messy with all the wrapping paper that was flying around

And I found

An amazing Ocarina, I always wanted to buy one but neither in Ecuador, Spain or here in Shanghai I had been able to find one that I was completely happy. But with this one I'll drive my neighbors nuts ... Since I just tried and I really need to improve my music skills but I think the instructions will help. Thanks!

And finally :

A Yoshi RC Kart, another thing that I always wanted but I never bought it for myself. As you can see in the first picture I like Yoshi a lot so
I already test it out and I'll used to play with a small cat at my gf's place.

The chocolate will be my biggest temptation and I over the next days I'll upload a few comments haha.

Sorry for the delay - thanks again to GreyMatter and The Baroness - I was PMed after whining in the thread around the last few days before Christmas, so I knew something was coming...

So I opened up the massive box and got these wrapped goodies:

I think the German Zollamt decided to open one for kicks, so a lone "Pikmin Star" was already out of his wrapping.

I opened everything at once... (Terrible photos since I had to take them in the dark quickly yesterday!)

The Sackboy is super cute! And thanks for the handmade Pikmin Stars

There was some sweeties (I love candy canes!) badges and... I have to confess, I don't recognise the anime girls dressed up in animal hoodies

The posters were some of the Bayonetta limited edition posters, I think GameStop gave out a few years back!

No offence but Yuripaw really lucked out after seeing all the effort that other people put into their gifts. One memory card? I'd feel disappointed too. I'm almost tempted to buy a few things here in china to send to him.

While it doesn't have the high quantity as some other gifts, the memory card definitely cost as much as or more than the required gifting price. I know that cost isn't the biggest factor in these gifts, but perhaps the person was busy and got something they thought was worthwhile/a big enough item to make up for their lack of time to make homemade gifts or whatever. Just my opinion, can't really speak for the SS or anyone else here. It's the thought that counts in all Secret Santas, in my opinion. As long as everyone gets a reasonable gift then it has worked out as planned.

Edit: Don't want to derail this topic though, it should a positive thread for sharing gifts so sorry for even opening up the discussion on this gain. Nice to see everyone's gifts and pictures posted so far!

Wowzers, totally impressed with my gift! That said, the best part was the hand written letter! I hardly ever receive anything handwritten these days… As for the goodies well I am a Tea fiend and love British chocolate so I hit the jackpot here

My Santa must've stalked my posts here as I said that I used to have this boat as a kid. Well I did until I accidentally set it free in the Pacific Ocean when I was on a family vacation in Hawaii! An amazing bit of nostalgia and it really lifted my spirits as built this with my Nurse in the Hospital about a week ago

Loved everything and the chocolate has helped me regain post-Hospital weightloss!

Amazing! Yeah I was in the hospital over the holidays with pneumonia so I had limited access to a laptop. But the boat is amazing, I can't believe you found what I was talking about As for the photos you have to explain which way the one with the three ornament balls hangs and the story behind the one with the half height doors. I think the other picture is that of a lamp?

I think Kinder Eggs used to be banned or something like that because as a kid I never had them only until I was nearly finished elementary School did I have one and even then now I don't see them all that often. Could just be me though! The chocolate bars are spot on too, they go great with the Tea
