Quadcore A15 ARM chip "more powerful than compatitble desktop CPU".

"123 times faster than Apple A5X"

Jun-Hsun Huang shows off his muscle.

More intel trash talk.

Announcement of next ARM desktop chip code named "obscure superhero reference".

There I got 70% of the CES summary for you.

And we're done.

It would be nice if they had actual products to show. Instead we'll get some prototype boards, silly benchmarks and shipping products in Q3, if we're lucky.

More like 90% tbh. They will also have a roadmap up to 2020 which shows a magical 100x power and efficiency improvement...

Hey, I am the ever optimist - I feel like Nvidia will do something different than the traditional 'exponential growth' jargin.

Maybe. Who knows. Probably not... most likely not, really...

8PM PST before a workday? Fuck CES.

We already have a good picture of what CPU performance is going to be like. The GPU is the real question. I suspect it'll match the Mali-T604, at around 3-4x the performance of the Tegra 3 GPU.

Why not, I am watching bootleg of Breaking Dawn 2 and waiting for nV live blog, I think they are the best combination.

Do you want to know what's going to be powering the next generation of smartphones? What hardcore GPUs will be in your next gaming rig? Then there's only one place to be tonight: Nvidia's event in fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada, one of the very first in a long string of press conferences here over the next few days. The rumored Tegra 4 could be unveiled, heating up an already white-hot rivalry with Qualcomm to corner the smartphone market — but will it be enough to get Nvidia through 2013? We may not have long to wait to find out.

PS: I'm adding a link to their live blog in my OP

I'll be tuning in but I imagine it's just going to be Tegra 4.

Still holding out hope for new discrete GPU announcements.

I'm telling you, you guys expecting anything about 7x0GTX are going to be hella disappointed. They're going to be focusing on three things:

Project Denver: Their High Performance ARM CPU
Tegra 4: Their new mobile SoC
CUDA related stuff: GPGPU stuff

Why not, I am watching bootleg of Breaking Dawn 2 and waiting for nV live blog, I think they are the best combination.

Ah boo, stop being a tease then. =P

Haven't really kept up with android news lately.

Considering a shit ton of Windows 8 and Android Devices use Tegra 3... this announcement could show you a shit ton of info about what 2013 product updates could be like hardware wise...
