Well, technically the flight is only 7 (from Changi to Osaka), but then I have to get a train and bus combo to get home so I won't have internet until then, about 5PM JP time tomorrow. Already made one 7 hour leg of my journey (Aus to Changi). It's a budget airline so there'll be no wi-fi.
Still, it'll be nice to come back and be able to read all the meltdowns, awesomes, that Pokemon looks like a Digimon etc without having to be a full part of it, haha.

Have a nice flight and be prepared for the worse. There's a chance that the announcement is unimportant, even thought we know that it's for Gen VI.

Apart from some sort of browser game, the 'worst case scenario' is Pokedex Pro U, which would be awesome, haha.
I take that back, the 'worst case scenario' could be Pokemon Channel 2. *shudders*

Wii U x 3DS just like MH3U.
Nah, Nintendo knows 3DS needs both versions and it won't do much for Wii U.

Throwing a semi-random idea out there just to see some speculation based on it....
Pair of games for the 3DS, as per expectations, but featuring a cloud save function allowing you to use the save file with some kind of online infrastructure based on the Wii U, as an evolution of the Dream World idea from BW/B2W2.
Pokemon Stadium 3 believe!!!
But all in all I really hope it's a new main 3D pokemon game for the 3DS and a new pokemon game for Wii U.

Why not? I don't think it'll happen, but launching two different versions, being able to trade between them, both being full games, one for consoles and another for portables seems like a nice way to help both console and portable. Both need help right now, after all.
A Pokemon Stadium or some other silly spin off would do nothing for consoles, but an actual mainline game, now completely 3d, able to do everything that the portable versions can, might change things.

Depends if they're staggering the updates across all the official Pokémon sites, or are making the announcement simultaneously on all. If the former, might be in a mere 2 1/2 hours. If the latter, we could be looking at 12 hours plus.
Well, that's actually great but I don't think that it will happen. The feature can't be exclusive to Wii U. A Dream World 2 is more likely.
It's currently still the 7th in Japan time.

Pokemon on iOS announcement.
Because consoles and handhelds are still too far apart for it to happen properly. Production values and price alone will be in the way, but honestly the format still works best when both players are present and I can't see that happening anywhere near as often with a console version instead of a second handheld version. Though if a console version were successful I think it's more likely to happen in the west, and that's exactly where Nintendo shouldn't want their console to take away from their biggest portable series.

Any number of things that Gaf should have learned to expect by now after being let down by teasers and countdown sites every couple months for the past five years but, for some reason, hasn't learned yet.
Actually, Fighting is one of the best combos with Fire. No Rock weakness on defense and a Fighting attacks to clobber Rock types (which resist fire) on offense. So maybe they love the Fire starters a bit too much. Fire/Ground wouldn't be too bad for a change. Just don't make it as frail and slow as Camerupt.
So how serious are people about B/W3. I mean...I don't think it's impossible, and I know people are trying to keep hype in check. But that seems pretty extreme. B/W2 at the time seemed sorta weird, but in hindsight it seems like a natural evolution of the third version concept. But I can't really see what's to be gained by doing another one, especially if it's a 3DS game since I doubt that would be a system seller
