Rhythm Hunter Harmo Knight announced! (Game Freak, 3DS eShop, 9/5 ¥1,800)

So Game Freak's newest non-Pokemon game has been announced on Nintendo Direct.

There's also an Iwata Asks for this game, so be sure to check that out.

  • Rhythm action platformer game from Game Freak

I really wish the art style they use on cutscenes and the world map was used on the actual gameplay segments as well.

Watch the clips on the official site, you can hear the music a lot more clearly. It's pretty awesome.

I can't believe I died on stage 5.

This demo went from easy tutorial to tons of enemies and jumps.
 
I'm quite jealous of Japanese 3DS owners now. :( As I said elsewhere, my absolute favorite thing about Game Freak is their music, and here they are making a rhythm game, my favorite game genre.

It's like a dream come true. :p


Also, if Somnid wants, he can copy/paste some or all of the contents in my OP to yours, for instance, the screenshots. That way, we won't have two threads. lol

Anyone have opinions on why they enjoy learning about things so far in advance and having to wait so long for it? I personally dislike learning about releases and having to wait for it.

Lol, this thread is old. Game came out September 2012. Good fun, still stuck on (what I assume is) the last level though.
