Until a few minutes ago, a lot of us had been playing. Heck, I was playing since 5 AM when they came up. =P

I'm so glad they've made controls so modernized. But damn it takes some getting used to after so much play with TERA. Have to hold right click mouse to move the camera around rather than just moving the mouse itself.

Kinda have to work things like that in a target based mmo. Really happy that they just copied the controls wholesale from WoW, right down to holding both mouse buttons moves you forward. One of the things WoW did really well was player control, and it is no shame recognizing that.

Game should tell you the servers are down before it lets you waste a load of time on the character creator

Cant believe I got in though. I never get this luck with betas.

Just be happy that there isn't a million sliders and choices. Easy to get back to what you made before.

Absolutely. They work like any other MMO now which is great. Best improvement so far. I've yet to see combat however.

Absolutely. They work like any other MMO now which is great. Best improvement so far. I've yet to see combat however.

They are perfect, pretty much. I've had no problems at all, and the controls are the first thing I look for when I start playing an MMO.

They said 30 minutes, but that was 30 minutes ago and they servers didn't go down exactly when they said... so... *shrugs*

Just keep trying. Tonberry told me it was full, but eventually let me in.

So, i've registered my Beta code, but now i can't log into the forums. It says "You could not log in because that service account has been cancelled". Anyone else had this?

Is there a link directly to the Beta if i can't get it through the forum?

Or is this due to the game being down right now?

The only world it let me choose this time was Atomos and that world is apparently full too.

I put my character on Bahamut and I couldn't log in as the world was full. Tonberry wasn't an option. Only Atmos, Chocobo and Bahamut.

7 hours ago when I opened the launcher, there was only a 6mb patch.

Not sure if there have been any more since then. About to head home and find out!

So THATS what they were doing, adding more servers.

They just added Adamantoise server, and a few other servers reopened. So keep trying for Tonberry if you didnt get in the first time.

Got my character recreated, but the world is giving the full atm...at least i'm locked in for Tonberry.
