So yeah, I think I'll take a cup of water for a moment because I'm not sure why I'm doing this. I guess it's because of Katawa Shoujo getting a thread so I thought this would be a good idea. Hell, I think there are GAF users with avatars from the nine characters! Hahahaha...
Anyway, Morenatsu - the title is 漏れなつ。 which means "Summer break." Straight to the point: it's a fur-I mean kemono visual novel. It's male-only but really, there are females playing KS so I don't see what's wrong!
It's definitely an adult visual novel, but to be fair, it's pretty safe (barring some jokes and weird stuff) until you managed to get the "good" paths (yes this game has weird, multiple endings per "character") and the lewdness only comes there. It's still in beta, but the demo is free to play but in Japanese only. There are patches for English play but I'm not sure it's fine to share. I will link it when it's good to go. Out of the 9 paths (and even then it's probably 8 because 2 characters seem inseparable), 5 are done though one is still under translation. Here's how to play it.

So uh, the cast are as follows...
You (Default: Hiroyuki Nishimura) - You're the male human who returned to the Waterfront, a rural village beside a river, during the summer vacation (hence Morenatsu). You went back because of a letter from your old friends - the 9 characters. Depending on the route you are either dependable, an idiot, an amnesiac, a sadistic guy, a nice guy, or what have you. Also for some odd reason he can't drink ramune properly.
Torahiko Ooshima - Your tiger childhood friend who apparently sent the letter to you. He is a swimmer who wants to be a chef. A bit of an optimist. Route not available yet. He is also considered the "face" of the game and is the "canon" route.
Tatsuki Midoriya - the big dragon who works as a craftsman. He's the only one who can drink around your circle of friends, and is treated as a big brother.
Juuichi Mikazuki - grumpy bear and member of the judo club. Despite his disposition he is nice in the inside, and oftenly lectures Torahiko around. His route is open in the current patch but is under translation.
Kounosuke Kuri - the tanuki is always late in group meetings and has a tendency to trail off in his own thoughts. He carries a camera since he wants to submit something for a photography contest.
Kouya Aotsuki - this husky ran away from his family after some personal troubles and now stays alone. Despite that he remains friendly to the group. He belongs to the Muzikah, a band, and there's an upcoming competition.
Kyouji Takahara - this dog whose eyes are always shut and only has like 3 sprites or so is a member of the soccer club. The labrador always helps out and is big with the ladies. His route is not yet available.
Shin Kuroi - he lives in a mansion and is definitely rich. The cat is your typical bishounen rich boy archetype - good grades but sickly. Oh and he's sharp-tongued. He still enjoys your group though.
Shun Kodori - naive young wolf, and despite his looks, he's only one year younger. Apparently it's due to his family being like that. He's very hyper when video games are involved however, and he looks up to you.
Soutarou Touno - junior to Kyouji's senior. The lion belongs to the soccer club and is actually the only of the nine who Hiroyuki has never met before. Apparently looks up to Kyouji so much. His route is not yet available, though he apparently shares it with Kyouji.

When I first tried the game, I was entering with the notion of "this should be funny". I mean, even if they're from Japan I don't really expect something much on a furry work. But holy shit after picking Kouya (oh god) I felt so much "feels". Forget the lewd sex, I genuinely feel for the character and you definitely feel satisfied when you go through his route. With that said, I heard his route is the most straightforward one unlike Tatsuki's, Shun's, and Shin's.
