I think my new policy is, no more number exchange unless I know they're down to meet up. Girl I'm texting doesn't seem like she wants to meet up, wants to 'get to know me' through text. Well the other day she was browsing my old dropbox pictures and today she tells me that she saw a picture of my ex and I doing some sexual acts. I forgot I had them in there and she's somewhat upset by it, which is understandable. What am I meant to write about in my bio to sound interesting? Asian living in texas here, so I feel you. But that's the thing about online dating, it really cuts the bullshit. Would you prefer going out to a bar, meeting a girl, buying her a drink and then finding out she isn't interested in dating you because of your race? At least this way you know off the bat. Also, I have gone on successful dates with non-Asian girls on this site so it's not all bad
That's cool, a little excitement is good. But try to get these online conversations into IRL meetups and you'll be much happier

I think it mostly depends on any given person's confidence level. If you think that you're limited due to your skin color and that a girl who isn't your race/nationality wouldn't want to date you, then you'll project that.

While I agree in some aspects, the fact of the matter is, caring for my son takes up a very large portion of my time when I have him. Anyone who would be interested in me would have to deal with this as well, so why not be upfront about it? I'd say most people aren't interested in people with kids from past relationships, much less one that has special needs. That's perfectly ok too, which is why feel the need to be upfront about it. I guess I'll scale I back a bit when I get off work.
