Looks like a remarkable port. A worthy successor to the esteemed legacy of incredible bite-sized adaptations established by Neo-Geo Pocket, SFA3 Upper on GBA, Tekken 5 on PSP, and UMvC3 Vita.
Thanks for the link. Loading is surprisingly fast, but I wish we'd have something nice to look at during loading besides that blank screen. What are they doing at 2:05? Lmao.

Edit: Top of the page, buy Hatsune Miku Project Diva f if Sega decides to localize the Vita version. It's my favorite rhythm game on any platform.

Just wondering, is there any way I can mess up Persona 4 and not get to the true ending?

Any recommendations on when to save? I won't play the game again after I finish it but would prefer to get the true ending first time round.

yeah but there is a very obvious point where it recommends you save
december the 5th I think
. If you get the bad or neutral ending then reload. You know its one of them because the game ends. If you get the right one you have another 10-15 hours of game. That will lead you to the normal ending

Then there is also a bit at the very end to get the true ending. I suggest looking it up as its not obvious at all.

Then there is also the addition dungeon that they added which is also possible at the end.

To get this
max out the marie social link (Aeon) before december I think.

Very helpful. Will remember this.

Thanks a lot. :)

That DOA5+ footage looks great. Eagerly anticipating that one.

It does say 'Now Loading' down in the bottom right corner.

Loved P3P and got and loved P4G even more. Sorry I was meaning psp or PS1 rpgs.

The ones on my radar are

PSP - FF IV complete collection, Ys Oath.
PS1 - FF IX (never played that one

How does FFIX hold up? I loved VII and VIII back in the day.

Can I ask why you preferred Golden to P3P? I did the same, but for me it was because the murder mystery element was more appealing, and the dungeons weren't as long winded as Tartarus was.

Definitely get Oath in Felghana

Have you played any other FF's besides 7 and 8? Either way, if you liked those FF games, chance are you'll like the other's. FF9 is really good. It's a bit more strategic than 7 and 8 since party members can't be clones of each other and have their own fixed roles, so who you have makes a big difference (You'll have 4 party members instead of 3 though). I like the way you learn abilities (off your equipment). The music is very good. Not quite as good as 8, but better than 7. It has the best Chocobo sidequests in the series. Characters are more charming and the game has a classic fantasy feel that 7 and 8 lack. Main gripe is that the battles are a bit slow, even on the fastest settings and you can spend ages waiting for your character to take action after selecting what to do. Give the game a try, and if you like it get FF4 on PSP because there's no way you won't like it. I'd want to recommend FF5 and 6 as well, but the PS1 versions have very bad loading times. They're still magnificent games though if you can deal with that (I did the first time I played them). FF6 is my second favourite in the series after 7

I bounce around between my UK and US account, so I'm not 100% sure on what is available. I believe Grandia is, and I really liked that. More light hearted than most RPG's and it feels like an adventure. The battle system is awesome stuff. While I loved Vagrant Story back in the day, I wouldn't recommend it anymore. The controls are horribly dated and it felt a chore to play so I'd avoid that.

Thanks. sounds like Il like both those FF games. I have a feeling I have seen Grandia mentioned and when I looked it wasn't there.

And P4G is better because nothing in this life or the next could possibly match something that is essentially Scooby Doo the RPG.

Yeah I really liked that aspect of the P4 group of friends.

It's kind of annoying because my favourite PS1 RPG's (Chrono Cross) aren't on the UK store, and some of the best PSP games aren't on PSN at all.

Lol at the motion controlled boob shaking.

A friend was asking me the other day, how do you jiggle the boobs on the PS3 version? Just shake the pad at any time?

...y'know, for my friend.

Was that not already in NGS2? Not that I've played it, but at a guess I assume it would work the same

Yeah I want to try that as well as have heard good things.

Other things about P4G are just how its been tweaked to flow better
- fusing
- cards at end of some fights
- overall presentation
- dungeon more interesting

I would say the story is better in 3 but the characters more interesting in 4.

It just felt more polished and charming overall.

But seeing how much I loved P3P I was surprised how much more I liked P4G.

I've yet to experience all that. I've only played vanilla Persona 4, but I'll get around to Golden soon. Choosing what abilities the fusion Persona inherits is a god send on it's own. Making the perfect Yoshitsune will be so much easier...

It really is. The only thing that I had a bit of trouble with was finding the Absorb Physical skill card. Here's my screenshot from a while back (all of its stats are close to max, and it has Absorb Physical now):

Shake the contoller during win poses. It's actually quite fun, besides this and flower that's the only purpose for six axis controls.

How much easier is the game compared to the PS2 version? I mean more interms of the extra abilities your party members will get

I'm disappointed I picked up Dead or Alive 5 on the 360. Now none of the costumes I purchased will transfer over to Plus, so I'm on the fence about whether I'll pick it up.

I haven't played much of the PS2 version, but from what I understand, a lot of your party members were buffed in P4G. Rise in particular seems much more helpful now. Skill cards basically make the fusion skill inherit system obsolete, but it's a welcome addition IMO.

I really hope the next Persona game keeps most of the new mechanics in P4G.

Finished ghost of sparta!

Was really fun as looked decent actually. Makes me want to play GOW3

But now I have 1.6gb free space!

Vita muffins tell me - what should I fill it with?

Right, but I thought only on PS4... is there any other game that use this function right now?

Well I mean the cross-controller thing for Guacamelee specifically was announced awhile back. I think there are a couple other games that can do some sort of cross-controller functionality but very limited. It's cool that this game gives the option.

Ok how about this guys -

Can't afford p4g till roughly may.

Should I just play the ps2 version? Or wait?

I know I am late to responding on this and you already decided to wait... but I want to stress again for you to wait.

As i mentioned in my first look review that the internet doesn't really know of... the small changes such as skill cards, shuffle time persona bonuses and choosing what skills your persona gets completely changes how you handle demon fusion and makes it a lot more enjoyable trying to build the perfect persona, and gives you a ton more freedom sticking with a persona you really like.

I'm playing God of War: Chains of Olympus. The stick based QTEs don't seem to work as well with the Vita's stick. How am I supposed to pleasure ladies now!

Also, damn, why WOULDN'T Sony get Ready At Dawn to make a Vita game after this. :/

ok just started playing Mirror of Fate and while the 3D effect for the background use is kinda neat sometime(slider halfway up) I don't really see 3D as that important and I don't see the new "possibilities" Cox was talking about.

so yeah I think Dave Cox was bullshitting us.

because they have them busy working on "a third-person action-adventure game for a "next generation home console game system.""?

they don't strike me as a team that can do two big games at once.

I know they are. I meant instead of a next-gen game. They already has plenty of big hitters working on PS4. Why add one of their best PSP devs to the list? :/

I would guess that perhaps ready at dawn wanted to do something more. Or perhaps sony feels that they need all hands on deck with the ps4 to make a stupid awesome launch line up and steady stream of games for the ps4 to avoid the no games stigma the ps3 had, and that the vita is now having, and make sure the ps4 comes out firing on all cylinders and thus requested that they make a ps4 game instead of a psv game?

Was it ever a question, really?

Even worse was Capcom's pathetic excuse for not porting RE:Revelations to Vita and then going around and making it Off-TV playable on WiiU

Quick question. I've been playing Gravity Rush from my PS+ subscription for about 10 hours. Recently I picked up the physical copy figuring I can save some memory space by deleting my downloaded copy. If I delete it, will I still have my save and will I be able to continue where I left off with my physical copy? Thanks!!!

Probably not, but you can upload the Gravity Rush save file to the PS+ cloud using Content Manager on your Vita. That way, you'll be able to delete the digital copy and get your save file back from the cloud later.

Upload save to cloud - delete - install cart - download save from cloud

The game could be a vita title easily. MOF is however, one of the most impressive uses of 3D in a 3DS title. I don't think I'd play it any other way personally.
