Well One Piece didn't get interesting to me til I reach the Skypiea arc (seriously!), so I'll give this another chance, what the heck~

I won't hold my breath on a lot of character announcements/reveals though @_@

What if THIS is the All-Stars that NB trademarked? 'Shonen Jump All-Stars'

Hmm seeing as this game apparently is to celebrate the 45th anniversary of SHonen Jump it should be a crossover featuring various series published in the magazine, but we'll know for sure when the new details are out.

Why'd you spoiler that? ^^'

anyway, it would make no sense, given

1) they're still THAT far, when JoJo is so much closer at release.
2) they have to figure out 1 licence for JoJo and like 10 thousand for that probably.

I fully expect this one never to come west, so I just hope it's simple in terms of mechanics.

Interesting time to do this, since Battle of Gods goes into theatres two days earlier, and a One Piece, Dragon Ball, Toriko crossover airs on FujiTV the following weekend.

Right now it's actually pretty good. Every series represented has the same licensee in North America. It'll drop once more characters are revealed.

Thing is with JoJo is the music references, which might be a licensing nightmare...unless there's a way to release it and have all music references and names in tact for the most part?

With this I think only Funi and Viz are the main distributors of these series so it shouldn't be hard to license shouldn't it?

I want it to be like Jump Ultimate Stars but I'm sure it'll be different heh.

Since these are super popular series yeah. I'm sure we'll get at least Gon and Kilua from HxH.

It's funny that ps3 is getting a ton of support right now, ps plus is great, psn is good, etc but I feel like its a bit meaningless and a little late. If its not coming to ps4 then it almost feels like the game doesn't exist to me. I'm trying not to support current gen consoles unless the game is really good. On the bright side, gaikai might bring some meaning to these games for the future so there's still a bit of hope.

Well we in NA should start freeing up some HD space right now since we are the only ones who might not get a Retail release.

Honestly?

With the way that things are going, it's safer to think that a number of Japanese developers are likely going to support the PS3 for a number of more years. Especially for Japanese-oriented franchises like this one.

I mean, the fact that the PS4 is coming out soon won't magically render the PS3 useless.

By the look and presentation of the game, everything points that it will be a Battle Stadion D.O.N. style game (This time D.O.T) with Dball, OP and Toriko characters, instead of a Jump Ultimate Stars with a masive rooster of Jump chars.

Scamcos already polled people on what characters they want from other franchises.

I'm not expecting a roster anywhere near as varied as JUS but it's definitely going to be more than Toriko, DBall and OP.

Sadly not. The preview models seems that it will be like OP Pirate Warriors plastic toyish models :( and no anime style like UNS

All Anime based games should use cell shading engine like Naruto UNS games.

Seriously. Makes zero sense to use 3d models on 2D anime characters when trying to replicate an anime.

And is Naruto in this?

Because they haven't been announced for this game. In the case of Bleach, the publisher of this game has never released a game in that franchise.
