I'm not sure what your question has to do with abiding by the sexual harassment policies of the companies I'm worked for?
Because the sort of people I just described can NEVER be considered in any way, shape or form to be sexual harassment, so should have no problem in having them hired for an event/party.
So you abiding to the sexual harassment polices of your company should not have prevented the people I asked about.
It's not. IGDA didn't pay for Skrillex nor Diplo.I assume this is over the same thing, it definitely wasn't viewed as harmless fun by all:
You are incorrect. You literally have no idea what you are talking about.
I love the ambiguity of the thread title. I can just see Notch soliciting random women on the sidewalk outside of the venue.
"Hey toots, you wanna shake yer moneymaker for cash?"
"Sir, I'll have you know I'm a nuclear physicist and do not appreciate that at all!"
"I don't care!" [/simpsons]
I won't be surprised if there's no real story here.
You are seriously saying that having people like I described hired for an event/party is sexual harassment.
Someone is delusional.
/mental ignore APF
There is seriously something wrong in our society.
Why do we have to pay women to come to a party??? Why dont they come on their own???
Whats the point if its only a sausage fest and the only women, which are on the party are paid strippers/escorts or whatever???
explain this to me please.
Looks nice? Seems a pretty good reason to me...
I don't think the whining is out of white knighting for the women being paid to be there. I'm sure they had a good time and love that work.
I think it's more about industry women attending these parties, and how it feels for them when as a minority, they see other women hired in as decorative baubles to provide eye candy for the men.
I think people are a bit more sensitive about this stuff now given the debates going on about it.
No, I'm saying it would go against most companies' sexual harassment policies. I agree, you are delusional.
wow, page 4 and not any pics of the girls in question yet? shame on you gaf
None of it even happened so no, nobody missed the point. Most people here seem to have missed the point, so I'll just re-quote this:
And sausage fest are boring.

So companies have sexual harassmen polices, that consider things that is not sexual harassment actual to be sexual harassment, yeah I guess those companies are delusional.
Now we are creating controversy for controversy sakes, fucking lawl
OMG women at a party where dancing and got paid for it, ZOMG! haven't we learned anything from Anita and the DiD (damsel in distress) Trope
We have to protect them, White Knight Shield Up!
