Meh ending, episodes with Rena are just not interesting, sorry Rena fans.

This was a pretty good season with a hilarious first episode, the real story arc which ran from episodes 2 to 4 were also good, last episode felt unnecessary.

Rating it a 5-6/10

Are there any anime podcasts of note?

I'd rather like I guess something in format like the standard videogame ones, where there's some news and round table discussion of both current episodes of shows watched as well as older stuff a panel member is watching.

I don't know of any, but I was on one that was established by people from some other community I know. I had to awkwardly give a review of Hidamari Sketch x365 out of my head, it was awful.

I keep putting this off and I don't know why. Apparently it takes place in the same continuity as GaoGaiGar of all things.

Seraphis and I are having a Betterman watching party this weekend and everyone's invited. We've got hors d'ouevres, we've got champagne, but mostly, we've got incoherent psychobabble. Lots and lots of incoherent psychobabble.

Jexhius mentions Anime World Order and Dynamite in the Brain a lot. I can't name any others except for the ANNCast, which everyone seems to think is best left avoided.

This part was intended they could have made it longer but at this point
hero is broken as hell and much much more powerfull than everything else before him..it was intended that way from the source material ...a one sided fight with the demon lord brought back quickly ..

Also it might seem odd given the setting but the key moments are not the fights but the political moments and each characters actions to change things ..i mean , the hero and the knight are broken as hell from the start because the focus is not on them fighting but them find a way to end the war without fighting.

They could have took some creative liberties, I guess, to make it a bit more exciting. Maybe this whole thing would have worked better as Live Action.

And now that I know it also involves mecha, I'm watching it for sure. But I'm lead to understand there's a sequel series to GaoGaiGar I have to watch first?

GaoGaiGar Final. 7 episode OVA series. It was edited into tv with a Grand Glorious Gathering subtitle I think which ties it better to.. Betterman but I've never watched it like that.

It seems pretty odd to end this on a more depressing note after the last two ones but whatevs. This follows a depressed housewife whom struggles to deal with her two increasingly distant and bratty kids and her uncaring husband. The moral of the story is to lay the law the fuck down as soon as possible and set yourself as the dominant person in the house so you don't take any shit from anyone.

I can vouch for Anime World Order and Jexhius has some very good things to day about Dynamite in the Brain so give those two a shot.

It's kinda hard to care about this after how lacklustre the last season was. :(

Princess Tutu 6

Well, Mytho certainly reacted a lot stronger to that than anything he's responded to so far. Though I suppose fear is arguably the most powerful emotion one can have. But then Duck overhears him telling Fakir that he's scared of Princess Tutu. So then she has a crisis of whether or not what she's doing for Mytho is right. Ultimately it comes back to what the narrator and Edel (who rocks, by the way, I never gave her her due respect) were talking about. Is what she's doing really for him, or for her? Guess she's gonna have to answer that for herself.

Fakir's a bad dude, I can tell that much. He's a douchemaster. I just wonder why he and, more interestingly, Rue want to keep Mytho from getting his feelings back. Whatevs, I'll see.

Ah, well, if its only 7 episodes, that's not bad. I'm used to Gundam where any second season MUST be 50 episodes no exceptions.

I wonder when its coming back. Ending it at
Jellal confronting the mystery woman and Gajeel finding the Dragon Graveyard
was a fitting point. The whole fight comprising a large majority of the episode is the reason why I love Fairy Tail so much. Natsu is just so amazing and awesome and can confront any opponent or opponent like they are nothing. Really still the best highlight of the anime since the magic of tomorrow. Ill miss Fairy Tail, but Ill revisist it as Funi releases the dub.

Episode did have a few rough spots...

Okay, so:

1)Suddenly this is a Super Robot show with teleporting Gundams and shizz. Okay.

2)Saji Crossroads is a pretty terrible character. Like, awful. I cannot believe we're BACK to the stupid arc of him blaming Setsuna for what happened when he knows it wasn't Setsuna's fault.

3)Setsuna is also awful. "Oh, you're sad because your girlfriend dumped you and has turned into a psychopathic member of an evil organization? I sympathize because I murdered my parents for no damn reason. I hate God."

Am I supposed to sympathize with any of this arrogant assholes anymore? God, the only character even remotely interesting at the moment is Wong Lu Mei, and only because she very vaguely resembles Mr. Wong.

And now Louise is like, super strong? I can't believe this bull anymore. And these lame-ass Innovators with their lame-ass names are quite possibly the worst villains in the series. Then again, Gatoh.

Oh my gosh, I cannot STAND the constant posturing of entirely unnamed characters. "WAAAH BOO AMERICA FOR CONQUERING US IN IRAQ. I MEAN THE FEDERATION AND AZADISTAN, YEAH." How is this show liked by anyone? At least in Gundam Wing we had guys like Treize and Zechs and Lady Une to distract from the straw-man NPCs.

Is Cuticle Detective Inaba worth watching? I only heard of it because of this gif

Yes it is.
The anime easily delivered the most fun each week these past twelve weeks in the Winter season and it was such a good ride. All around excellent cast and personalities on each side and even the side characters. I cant even think of anything wrong, besides the cameos of manga characters in the final episode...season 2 please? Hilarious comedy excellent character interactions with good high levels of friendship closeness and near bl at times.

Definitely will buy as soon as possible when Sentai releases it here, it better be on Blu ray please. 10/10.
Yeah, good reaction to the show.

So, uh all the events I guess did get resolved expect you know not exactly telling or showing us but instead having us infer that they did. And, of course they decided to throw in a bunch of new plotlines that will never get developed cause this show will never get a season 2~

The show had a good concept, and it was fairly interesting. The main cast of characters were decently developed as well. But, the secondary cast barely had even an introduction, so like hell I knew who they were and the plot development got lost in the middle so I was barely keeping up. For a show where the plot should be its strongest point, this show really didn't put enough focus on it to make sure the viewer is actually following. :\

Season 2 sucked ass, except for the episode were Tieria had to disguise himself as a women, which was the best episode of the series.

That was the episode where I very nearly quit watching the show. And when people say S2 sucked, I wonder if they mean to insinuate that S1 did not, because it most definitely did.

Princess Tutu 7

The plot thickens.

Duck decides to stop being Princess Tutu and throw her gem over the Bridge of Why-why. But then she sees Mytho being swallowed up by the river, and has to help him. Drosselmeyer gives her the gem back (somehow), and she gets him out. Mytho tells Tutu that even though he's afraid of her, he wants to get his feelings back.

But then the shard from the river, the desire to know who he is, gets stolen. By a new villain named Princess Krehae (might have gotten that wrong). Also, she's Rue. And the raven. So it turns out Rue is the villain in all of this so far. So why does she say she loves him? Must have been something more complicated going on that I don't know about yet. And Fakir knows who the raven is, and seems none too pleased that it's back. So now I'm wondering what his deal is.

Detective Conan 165:
Fuck every person who worked on this episode! I feel dumber for having watched this episode, which may be the worst filler episode produced since Rainbow Mist (yes, I know this is older than any One Piece filler episode, but whatever).

I realized it was going to be a 'oh, he was just taking them away to help them out' thing a few minutes before it happened, but still. How did anyone think that this was a good idea? Even that shitty episode with the birds flying off with evidence was better than this. I'm just glad they managed to leave Haibara out of this.

Ah-hahahahahahaha. This episode is truly for the youngest viewing audience of DC. I like how on DetectiveConanWorld.com they have this episode listed as one with both character development and romance.

I think my absolute least favorite of DC is episode 273: Riddle Granny Disappearance Case. Look forward to it.
