I tried watching the anime again but it's so inferior compared to the manga, that's a shame :/ The voice acting and the OST were good though.
I wouldn't mind a Eyeshield 21 Brotherhood anime :lol

Every long-running anime should receive the Brotherhood treatment.

I was about to write down Kai, but I don't want the shows to continue having a $10 budget.

I don't really understand that comparison, but I know you like Fairy Tail more.

I'll say one thing, at least the FT anime has much better pacing than the OP anime.

It looks like Funimation's site has a lot, but we all know they're not as good as CR.

Cosmic, doesn't every shonen anime have better pacing than One Piece? Well, I guess Bleach might be worse if what I heard was true, i.e. a manga chapter per anime episode.

I don't know if anyone noticed, but the first episode of Romantic SNAFU turned up on AoD here in blighty a couple of hours ago. Guess they're going to be streaming that!

In other news,

I got the first Cu-poche series figure today, the delightfully adorable Haruka. It's somewhere between a Nendo and a Figma/Revoltech, I guess. I really like the proportions and the posability - one nice thing is that the base has a metal inlay, and the figure has magnets in it's shoes. It makes it way more stable than most comparative figure series, at least without getting as annoying as the stands on those Heartcatch Chibi-Arts figures.

This anime will easily get into my top five for this year if the quality doesn't falter (and from what I have read of the manga, it should hold up). The retroscoping took a little to get used to, but I am a major fan of the character art now. The background continues to be impressive.

One thing I really enjoy is the creepy ass ambient music, particularly (plot)
at the end of the episode when Nakamura pushes Kasuga into Saeki's breasts. The music was so god damn creepy.

I don't need your approval or your redemption dammit.

Thats fine with me it was unlikely you would have ever got it anyway.

but what if somebody who didn't enjoy SAO don't deserve to be referred as a "person"? It's a matter of perspective (and you're being a dick)

Lets think of it like this:

90% of people in a town eat food. 10% eat shit. The 90% refer to the 10% as animals for eating shit. The 10% can't really say the same because they are eating shit.

PS: I don't actually judge a person on what anime he/she watches. Whatever makes you happy bro.

Majestic Prince 2

Yeah, that was a really bad episode. This is going to be my first dropped show of the season. Later, Majestic Prince.

People who enjoy shit like SAO don't deserve to be referred to as a "person".
The SAO hate is reaching yet again stupid levels.

I know it's fun to bash it left and right , but did you think about what you wrote mantis ?

Shounen action/poor-man's One Piece with magic.

FT Has nothing in common with OP . Their art style might seem similar at first glance but the use of pannels , the use of the cast and the depth of their world building and rules are totally different.
The characters only common point is that "they never give up when cornered" and that is a problem with all shonens.

Who do we blame for ZnT?

Shaekspeare fanfictions ?

I have repented for my sins, my lady/lord. Please spare me.

This is basically what I assumed, but the editing in the anime is literally the way you edit a dream sequence into a normal sequence. We would be lead to assume it was a dream because the jump-cut editing was pretty similar to the editing of Eren's dream at the start of the first episode. So basically they fucked up.

Also, why did his father store something important underneath a house in the outskirts, which is the first place that would get taken over in an attack.

And what's taking the Titan's so many years to devour the rest of humanity?

Actually, I rewatched that scene, and I'm pretty sure the ambiguity there is completely intentional.

Which brings me to that genre I've been kind of ignoring. What's a good magical girl show to start with?

I've seen and enjoyed Madoka Magica and Little Witch Academia but otherwise not much else in the genre. I also liked Kannagi and Kamichu but those are more slice of life with god powers, oh and of course Kiki's delivery service.

I was considering Heartcatch Precure, Sailor Moon, Revolutionary Girl Utena, and Cardcaptor Sakura but I'm not sure which ones have aged well or whether they really live up to their praises.
All of these are good pics though do note the following:
Madoka is really quite different than all the shows you mentioned here and same can be possibly said about Little Witch Academia so you should adjust your expectations accordingly. Utena is really required viewing though. Note that in the case of Sailor Moon, Cardcaptor and Especially PreCure you should expect the content to be very episodic for the most part and follow a set formula of sorts.

So Fate/Zero and Fate/Stay Night.

Does the order matter? I know the former is a prequel.
Watch Fate/Zero. Pretend Stay/Night doesn't exist.

Ultimadrago x moonspeak doujins plz
I'm sure that is in the works somewhere.

I'm at a really weird point in my life right now where I need to reevaluate what my goals are, and what the hell I'm supposed to do. I've cut off as many distractions as possible in order to focus.

I won't be around.
That's pretty sad to hear. I hope things work out for you in this end.

Existential crisis from being associated with the property.

Probably a long way off it they do - the next Cu-poche figures are the over-merchandised Allstars, with Madoka this month, then Kirino and Saber later. Guess they're doing Dark Magician Girl from Yu-GI-Oh and forum-favourite iM@S Miki at some point too.

Yeah, I know Miki was already confirmed... and that if they're doing more IM@S girls Chihaya would go before Makoto. ;_;

Of all the anime I own, Fate.Stay Night is the only one Ive kind of slightly regretted spending er 100$ on. Didnt feel as polished and refined or as fun as F/Z/.

FSN is alright.
Not the most worthy show in light of the prequel, but when it came out I definitely enjoyed it.

[Rurouni Kenshin: Trust & Betrayal] - Final

Thanks for that, Studio Deen.

Not to besmirch the good name of anime fans but it's quite often the case that when they recommend or hype an older work it doesn't quite live up to the expectations that they set. This is not one of those cases. This was truly excellent and deserves the canonization that it has received.

I'm glad the director is still working today, even if he is stuck making Gundam Unciorn.

I think the problem with this scene is that there is no reunion scene with the father and instead just jumps ahead. I understand what they were trying to do but I don't think it was handled in a good manner. They either needed to cut the father rushing home or add in a reunion scene with Eren and him.
