I agree with you, but this is the video game market we currently play in.

I'd hope the response to H4 was proof enough that they don't need to chase the CoD player with killstreaks and all that other BS.

H5 MP should go back basics, look at what made H2, H3 such a joy to play and why people are still playing H2 to this very day on PC. That's what people want, not a CoD lite mess.

Everything about this seems more 'grown up' about this the Xbox reveal. Also goes to show the level of respect and clout that they've gotten over the course of this generation. From EA bullying Microsoft to open up Xbox Live back on the Xbox 1 to having EA unveil their best selling game at their reveal. They have come a long way.

That's what I figured. The only thing I want to see from this unveil apart from the system itself is at the very least, an announcement of Alan Wake 2. My judgement has been clouded by the drought of anything related to the IP.

They doubled the ram to 512mb though.

Who's butt hurt? But being inflammatory about it doesn't help your opinion. Halo is the flagship series for MS and it's not nearly as milked as something like a new Mario game for Nintendo or Call of Duty. Hell, we more than likely won't even see a new Halo game this year at all.
