It left me quite cold tbh.

I'm waiting for E3... but if next gen is not going to bring anything new to the table appart from social crap and crispy UI, I can stay in old gen for a while.

And WTF, Halo live action series? What it has to do with the new Xbox?

absolutely terrible showing. they just have utter contempt for games as a medium. the contrast with cerny and the stream of games at the ps4 event is stark.

They were going to call it Xbox onLINe, but Sweet Billy backlash made them revert to Xbox One as that was easy to change from all the promo material :)

Wow. Can safely say I will not be buying any next-gen consoles at this point until I see some seriously awesome games. I'll stick to Steam.

Whelp colour me disappointed. Sony didn't give me a reason to buy the PS4 with their unveil, and now Microsoft has failed to do so as well. I don't care about sports or Kinect. So why should I buy an Xbox One? Nice looking console though.

That was a really bad conference in my opinion. Only focused on the american audience, on watching TV (jesus halo series, of course that will suck), and on sports content. Not for me at all, they officially lost me here.

Underpowered, too focused on tv and services. This thing is going to be destroyed in Europe by PS4. Made in America for the american public. And a reactivation fee for used games. Im done with the Xbox brand.

I don't get it; they said they would show the games at E3, talked about 15 new exclusive games to Xbox 8 brand new and people are whining about this? If they don't show them at E3 or don't live up to it THEN say something.

Anyway, I loved the applications outside of gaming; NFL partnership, ESPN, etc.

It was a forgone conclusion that this conference was not going to be just about games. So anyone expecting a ton of games was just setting themselves up for disappointment.

I liked the features that I saw. It shows XBOX is appealing to a broader base than just playing games.

I feel like this was directed right at high school - early college males, and nothing more.

Got hyped when Remedy's game was shown and then right to Halo.....the premium television series. Wtf?

The conference itself was a right snoozer, the slow ass presentation of the games and all we saw was some cinematic not-even-sure-that-was-in-game sort of stuff. Awful, awful in every way and that's coming from a die hard Microsoft fanboy.

And I know people want to shit on Call of Duty but I think it looked great. I know Call of Duty is a 6-8 hour action flick that has some gunplay feel ( imo ) for a competitive game. Visually it looked very nice, loved the trailer and it sounds like they might finally have shaken the recipe up just a tiny bit ... Just a shame I won't be getting it for the "Xbox One" ( What a shite name, it's almost as bad as Wii U ).

So yeah, if you want DAVE in your home to control your media-center -- We've hit the
motherload. If you are a core gamer that doesn't give a shit about this stuff; Bleh.

And why the fuck does it look like a VHS player?

I'm really sorry but for a follow-up product to my favourite console which is probably going to last 8-10 years in this gaming climate, that was abysmal. The Playstation 4 now has my complete and undivided attention. Sorry for everything Sony, sorry for neglecting you and talking bad about you all these years, please accept me back into the fold.

the whole thing was a big wtf to me. couldn't care less about any of the sports stuff (i do like sports though, just don't need my console to do anything related).

Quantum Break? wth Remedy.. what was that? i didn't get it.

Halo TV series and Spielberg? wtf? ok i guess, but i doubt you'll need an Xbox to watch those episodes.

COD looked alright though, might get that since i haven't played a COD since MW2. but i don't need an Xbox for that either, right?

i didn't get a single reason to buy an Xbox One, besides some fun voice recognition controls (that would feel weird to use when i'm alone and playing games).

There's absoultely nothing that sold me on the system

I was going PS4 next gen and it definitely stays that way.

The games shown today looked wayyyy current gen and I'm not interested in the other stuff, like browsing internet while watching movie....
