Actually, it would not make sense to Microsoft to dilute its game catalog into two different racing franchises (you know the whole talk about consumer confusion), and Forza is its racing brand right now.

Not gonna lie, though, FM5 at launch does take a lot of pain away, and frankly, the trailer looked more PGR than FM.

Yep, same. FM5 on launch guarantees no PGR5 on launch and pretty much assures us that there's no chance of one at all. And in doing so (bitter fanboy tears) MS risk exhausting the FM brand by releasing their titles so close to one another.

Why you guys were so sure it was PGR I have no idea. You took the slightest bits of evidence and ran with it like it was the Gospel.
When common sense always stated it would be Forza, especially since they stated they wanted a Forza every year (mainline followed by spin-off the next year)
