Interesting that they've added new intro animations. Kasumi had a new one in the Momiji trailer and Hitomi has one here. Not something I would have ever asked for (The ones already in the game were good enough), but very cool nonetheless.

Really excited for this game.

I see the stages are still ugly as hell with ps2 textures. I think that grassy stage looked better in DoA 3 lol.

The color use, texture work, and lighting looks pretty weird and ugly, very cartoonish. It definitely looked a lot more appealing and realistic in DOA3's version.

I wish there is a ps4, Xbox one version with this game coming out at the end of the year. Knowing how many times they like to re-release their games, hopefully there will be a next gen version early next year.

They just ported arcade to stripped down version with worse assets. VF with no retail release, think about it.

If they wanted to do nothing with it they would've done nothing with it. They also would not have officially sponsored two tournaments, one in California and one in Europe, a YEAR after said release, and thrown $16,000 in prize money at both. Each.

You're mistaken.

I'd rather not see any crossover between DW and DOA. Even the DW outfits in NGS2 seemed like a waste to me.

Color isn't the issue. It's good that they are adding color because this game's color looks too muted compared to past DoA games and pretty much any other 3d fighter. It's the crappy textures on the stages that bothers me. Seems like they sacrificed environment detail to upgrade the player models. Wish they had a better balance of the two.

Stages have a ton more going on than the average fighter.
