I guess the Destiny box is a secret kind of blue never before discovered.
That shit is purple.
Why did you change the color?
EDIT: I see this was covered.

Even after the edit it's more blue than purple.

As you can see in the picture posted above we have a Pruplegate on our hands...
How can you say this? I'm not even a big AC fan but this is ridiculous.
And AC3 is not a valid answer because they are seperate teams.

My original pic versus the one I just took again from the OP. I didn't change anything for the fuckteenth time.
That box is purple.
It's navy blue. The variations of colors that can be called blue is pretty big.
Weirdest derail ever.
Begun the color war has.
It will happen. They're porting Watch Dogs to the N64.

You guys don't know it yet, but this is part of the Half-Life 3 ARG.
The bottom of the case is purplish though. Then again, is the ubisoft logo purple or blue?
Because the only one that's been sub par was 3, and it was still decent.
It encourages going for the lowest common denominator in order to save money.I'll never understand people's aversion to games being on as many platforms as possible.
It validates peoples choices about the platform they have chosen.I'll also never understand people encouraging platform exclusivity for third parties.
Nope. Same size.
Black.were gamecube boxes considered purple or blue? I always considered them purple

This thread is embarrassing. Why the hell would Ubisoft NOT put out the game on both current and next gen systems?
Ports don't grow on trees.I understand complaints about yearly sequels, but why is it bad if a game is on a lot of platforms?
The franchise is tired, I think that's the point.
It encourages going for the lowest common denominator in order to save money.

It is blue, I think.
I don't think either are good reasons to limit choice. People should not care so much about what other's buy and why.
Ports don't grow on trees.
I agree - I just gave you explanations for the questions you asked ;-)
Shades of HUELEN10...That's what you get for using cheap-ass image software. Photoshop tells me it's blue:

It's not even in the purple color range, which should be high up above what this color is.
It's not just about the resources being redirected, it's also about the quality of the end product. Even games limited to two consoles suffer to some extent.I'm assuming it's significantly less expensive to make a port than to develop and market a brand new game. A small amount of resources going to a port has negligible impact on any other games.
Haha good one.
Whats confusing about what I said? I'd prefer it if they actually said Playstation on the box. It always annoys me when a company uses slang and abbrivations instead of their own name. Kind of like how Kentucky Fried Chicken calls themselves "KFC" now. Look at the old PS boxes:

I mean you don't see Microsoft putting X1 on their boxes.
joke is flying over my head here. reference?
To be fair, KFC has to go by that name since at least two words in "Kentucky Fried Chicken" no longer apply to their product.
