Which is why they should take whatever they were thinking when they were writing Persona 4, and throw it out the window. Did /not/ like P4's writing. P3's was easily better by a milestone.

And P3 was also in high-school so obviously a setting is a setting and it is up to the writer to correctly use it, but I personally liked 4 more then 3.

There's a reason why there's so much less anime revolving around it.

Yes, the reason is the same jrpg often feature teenagers rather than adults, these kind of games are aimed at young men (mostly) and it's easier for them to self-insert and relate to teenagers and high schoolers.

It has nothing to do with it being more boring, especially because videogame high-school simulators are hardly a decent representation of real life. (pro-tip: the average Japanese girl doesn't look like your kawai persona waifu. And there are no harems. And you study.)
