I think Naughty Dog has right of first refusal for anything Bend does with the portable games - they're allowed to no-no certain elements and such if they think it won't fit the series' tone or might interfere with something else they plan to do.

Fake and I seriously doubt ND will do another Uncharted for PS4. I expect an Uncharted Vita 2 but I think the mainline series is done. ND will move on to new things for a new generation.

An Uncharted game is likely in the pipeline for the PS4... but this sure as shit isn't it.
Game Informer were hinting at another Uncharted from Naughty Dog.
I'd say U4 on PS4 is a certainty. As is TLOU2.
So if Amy gets pissed that Garvin came up with the idea first, she should be able to refuse the idea, steal it, and use it as her own. Pretty sure she it isn't that juvenile.

The Uncharted series is second only to Gran Turismo as the PlayStation's most popular IP. You better believe that Sony will be asking ND to develop a PS4 instalment because you're otherwise setting yourself up for disappointment.

Why should they drop Uncharted?
They have Uncharted and The Last of Us, two franchises everyone would love to have esclusively.
As long as they don't milk them too much and offer quality games, that improve upon the base formula, why not?
And there's always room for new IP's.

I stand by my statement. Firstly because ND always moves on to new things with a new generation. Secondly because I don't think a new Uncharted would be that attention grabbing. I think either a new IP from ND or a TLOU sequel would be bigger for Sony than doing another by the numbers sequel.
If I'm wrong then I'm wrong and I'm certainly not saying this is fact, but I honestly don't expect another UC on PS4. ND tend to know when enough is enough for their franchises.

GT is a longtime PS series that's been around since the PS1. Uncharted only started on the PS3, and ND has a history of dropping their older IPs after each gen.

They can't end the Uncharted series without creating old Drake This is most likely fake but an Uncharted game is most definitely in development at ND or at least in the planning stages. I hope they shake up the formula and make it more open ended with less combat and more exploration.

Naughty Dog hasn't had an IP as big as this before, so there's no valid comparison to make.
They made their new IP, The Last of Us, which has been wildly successful too. They're not going to drop Uncharted, a system-selling IP just to do something new. Not until the franchise turns sour, at least.

When they created the second team they did it knowing that the people who wanted to work on a new IP could go to TLOU... and the people still passionate about uncharted could stay with uncharted.
I'm a bit fatigued on the franchise as well, especially considering I got a lot of enjoyment out of the multiplayer and IMO The Last of Us MP kicks the crap out of it. But my personal feelings aside, Uncharted is a huge franchise and will make Sony money. And as much as sony has been saying all the right shit lately... they are still a company that wants to make money.

You can't base their future on what they've done in the past. In the past they made three mainline games and then a kart racer based on the franchise. So, that didn't happen this gen. And this gen they also made a second new IP.
In the past they've had reasons to move on. Obviously they lost the Crash franchise so they had no choice but to come up with something else. With Jak after the third game and X it was starting to fade in terms of popularity and review averages. And that gave them a reason to look into something else. Now they have Uncharted which is both hugely popular and reviews well. So, what reason would they have to drop it?
Now that doesn't mean that their next game is going to be Uncharted 4. But I certainly don't think their past is anything to suggest that it won't be. If it isn't then that'll just come down to them wanting to make something else.
I think people need to stop underestimating what they're capable of doing. They aren't going to make a prettier version of Uncharted if they do a PS4 game. It's going to be something new.
Uncharted's way bigger than Jak and Daxter.
