Memory card prices still aren't at that sweet spot yet, but regardless... soon, Sony... soon.
If you want to call it price gouging that is the exact reason. The memory cards are a high margin item that the low margin system requires to run. There is no mystery to solve, sony is charging you 4x the price of a standard memory card to keep the money.Memory card prices are still nothing to boast about. I might end up getting another one, but I'll do my best to make do as it stands.
I wish there was a clear reason (aside from what seems to be price gouging) for the expense.
Good news for you then, those rumors were completely false.this is what I was waiting for but now with rumors of a revamped and upgraded Vita I'm going to have to wait a little bit longer :-(
Total cost of a Vita + 32GB card went from $350 to $280. $70 price cut.
Remember these are just RRP's. places were already selling this stuff at those prices so in theory they can now sell for even less.
That's not how it works.
Retailers slashed prices in anticipation of this, now it'll just be the standard fare.
Will be picking up a Vita to compliment my 3DS around Black Friday.

you can to a ps3 or pc but the transfer speed is slow for the price.Does Sony allow you to easily swap games in and out of a PC or external harddrive from the memory card?

Vita will obviously continue to bomb, and retailers will continue to offer deals.
Can it go as low as $150?
