Killzone Mercenary | Single Player Campaign Gameplay | Gamescom 2013

Cambridge Studio are super talented. Maybe this will convince Sony to let them make more games this gen.

Been watching a lot of Shadow Fall stuff the last couple of days, levels with those pink blossom trees especially, and was like "huh, where have all the particle effects gone, especially if this is the 30 FPS stuff compared to the 60FPS multiplayer".

And then the video title hit me. Mother of god.

I'm still astounded to see this game look like that on Vita.

I wonder what the development budget is for the game.

The Vita is just a really impressive piece of hardware.

And it's almost like people have forgotten about Uncharted: Golden Abyss. That was a launch title, and this is a game 1.5 years after launch.

There are just a lot of developers who aren't even trying. The Vita has a massive amount of potential.

Sad thruth is that it cost a lot to make such a game and there isn't much market to make it profitable just yet

It also runs at native resolution with anti-aliasing. It's infinitely sharper than Uncharted and runs smoother to boot (though, of course, that was a launch title). It's very impressive.

Looks insanely good. The beta is good fun, too.

I hope they do a bundle with this game and heavily advertise it... could be the vita system seller if played right
I was surprised there wasn't one announced at Gamescom. Although GAME in the UK are selling a bundle with Killzone and an 8GB card for ÂŁ160.

They pretty much nailed the multiplayer component too. I can't stop starring at the reflections in the water when playing.

I don't know if I'm more amazed by the tech behind this game, or the amount of face/dick/armpit stabbing touch screen microgames. Holy crap, video games are dumb.

I game looks great. Multi player graphics are amazing and gameplay is good. I may be buying my first vita game since launch.

I don't like most FPS games this days. But after seeing the crazy work Guerrilla Cambridge has been doing with this game, i cannot help but buy the game. We need those guys making more Vita games.

Also note how the blood splatters on the walls :o

I absolutely loved the MP BETA so this is Day 1 for me. Every VITA owner needs to buy this game to support the developer.

I don't think you realize just how good this game looks until you have it running on the Vita. The native res + AA is absolutely incredible. I don't know how they did it.

One of the few developers finally starting to design a game engine that's at least vaguely suitable for Vita's hardware strengths... notice it's not a deferred renderer software engine.

I read somewhere that this is a port of the Killzone 3 engine.

Man, KZ never stops to impress.
I'm playing the beta right now and still can't believe how this can run on a HH, esspecially with this IQ.

And the SP seems to look even better.

Just wow.

The smoke and mirrors they must be pulling on this! It looks incredible! =D

Finally something that seems to living up to the Vita's premise as a portable PS3.

Real magic what they have done with hardware and going by that multiplayer beta thread it seems that this actually has a great gameplay too. Hopefully Sony will actually market this.
