Game is hard but fair. I'm loving it. So glad I held out for the Vita version. I need to get my friends together to play the ps3 version together. SO much raging will be had.

Game is hard but fair. I'm loving it. So glad I held out for the Vita version. I need to get my friends together to play the ps3 version together. SO much raging will be had.
I love how with my Vita I'm finding I'm getting overwhelmed with softare to play and buy. There's usually always something with a weekly update that interests me for it, and even though I'm one to complain about memory cards and their high prices (although I bit the bullet on a 32gb and am glad I did) I'm running out on storage and would really love a 64gb card to be announced as I'd probably happily buy one.
I'll stop myself before I get into a massive rant about how we get shafted with digital pricing here.
Yeah, there's no reason it should be more expensiver than the steam version. You can cite crossbuy, but it's the same price on the US store with crossbuy as the steam version here.

around 100 euros for 50m^2 (for your own) or 400EUR if you are renting flat from someone
and if i get retail game for 20 euro i can resell it to next person for 15 so it really must be super great indie title to be worth 15Euros

This game is just SO COOL. At the start of the game you get a camera with a kit lens, and you collect confetti around the world to get more items, including different lenses, like a macro lens, high speed lens, zoom lens, etc. Different filters and stuff, too. Just awesome.

i saw i was top 20 for a short time last night. i don't see my friends with any scores yet though

If you lose connection (which apparently happens whenever the screen turns off) it disables leaderboards for your current run. My highest score doesn't show up because of this.

I'm really enjoying Guacamelee at the moment. I noticed that it and Hotline Miami seem to share a common trophy list with their respective PS3 versions, whereas other cross-games such as Limbo and Hustle Kings have separate trophy lists. Any reason why?
Also, is it true that Flower and Dead Nation are to be updated for cross-play, or did I get that wrong?

One thing I will say about the Indie games is that I hope we'll soon move on from the Retro graphical style of the NES/SNES and into the PS1 era-like graphics or even better. The middleware engines should help in this regard.
Also where the hell is a bomberman inspired indie game? I would play the shit out of a bomberman or a bomberman rip-off.

Odd, I cannot see you on mine. I can see 4 people including me on the leader board, but there are many more that have the game according to the activity feed.

No reason why I shouldn't buy Rayman Legends on Vita, right?
Tearaway sounds and looks better and better everytime they show or talk more about it.
If you're in the PAL region it comes out a week later, but other than that I don't see too many cons to grabbing the Vita version!
I'm getting the Wii U version for local multiplayer (and to get it earlier) but I'll happily pick up the Vita version a little later due to me having the most fun with Origins on Vita.

It's the best version next to the Wii U.
Yessssss. So glad I didn't buy it on sale. Finally a worthy game since VLR (which I haven't played because I've been slacking on getting 999).

My problem, again, is that they're giving out games I already own... so there's no value add for me.
SCEA PS+ is such a joke. If it wasn't for the feature additions, I'd totally stop paying for it.
I'd argue it's better.
(1) It doesn't require owning a WiiU.
(2) It has trophies.
There's probably other reasons too.
3 ATM, but very close with 2.

thanks though. if you keep playing i wouldn't mind doing a set. im pretty rusty but it shouldnt take long to get back to the swing of things on that game

They made a statement awhile back about how "games recently on sale wouldn't be put on PS+ in the near future." And yet...
Maybe they only meant that one sale... cause their track record sucks otherwise.
SCEA must have brain damage anyway. YOU DON'T GIVE AWAY THE LAST GAME IN A FRANCHISE IN THE SAME MONTH THAT THE NEW GAME COMES OUT.
People who might've bought Legends on Vita will now wait and get Origins free. Origins should have been given out back in May or so, when SCEE gave it out -- so people with PS+ could download and play it for awhile before the sequel comes out... idiots.

I already owned it on physical but still bought it again while it was on sale. Ubisoft gives a lot of love to Vita, so...

The Vita's glorious d-pad alone already makes it the superior version.
And it plays really really well on the Vita via remote play.

This might help alleviate the severity of the dumpster fire, but it's still a dumpster fire -- especially when compared to SCEE PS+.
I love how they're giving out a light-gun game. I don't own a Move. A lot of people don't. And yeah, you can try to play with a DS3, but it isn't a great experience (I have the HotD games).
The Vita selection is great if you don't own the games (but you should've already bought Rayman Origins -- shame on you).

How many notable 2D platformers are there that can even fit into the narrow-minded "artsy" stigma that people perpetuate, anyway? Braid? Thomas Was Alone? Possibly Limbo and Closure? Good old Out of This World?

I haven't seen SCEE's offers, but based on my library, SCEA's Sept. offers are killing it for me. I own Ico HD and thats about the only overlap I have..
Now I can play Origins in peace before Legends. Spare myself the PS3 version. I got RE Chronicles for Wii but I wouldnt mind holding it for a PS3 run one day. GTA is AWESOME. Would have never expected to get that game on PS Plus.
Honestly, who knows. Maybe just maybe...
But us Vita owners sure know alot about hope.
Seriously. Europe gets Shadow of the Colossus and Ico -- we just get Ico. Not that that is a huge deal or anything, it's just a good example of how the service has compared between the regions. Not quite sure if Jack & Daxter Trilogy is better than Rayman Origins, though. I personally vastly prefer 3D platforms, but I've had bad things about the JaSC.

I think I bought the game at least 6 times. I'd like to think I've contributed to Ubisoft deciding that Legends shouldn't be a WiiU exclusive.
(First on PS3, platinumed, sold. Then on Vita, platinumed, sold. Then on Steam. Then I gifted it to a friend on Steam. Then I bought the digital version for Vita. Then I bought another physical copy (on clearance).)
I'm not sure what EU is getting for September -- but they just got a refresh or something yesterday where they were given:
AC3 (PS3)
Jak Trilogy (cross-buy)
Stealth Inc. (cross-buy; wonder if it's got the DLC included free still?... more to be pissed about, I guess)
New Little King's Story (vita)
Urban Trial Freestyle (vita)
Not sure why they got all the content yesterday... it's not even September and it's not being spaced out in weekly updates... did EU change their protocol for PS+ freebies?
Jak and Daxter is supposed to have framerate issues in the 2nd and 3rd games more so than the 1st on Vita ports. Since it's given away as a PS3 game, that's primarily where I'd want it, as I have the physical disc and could sell it to clear out shelf space. However, I wouldn't mind checking out the Jak 1 port on Vita while I'm at it.
Rayman Origins is the superior game. But it was free for SCEE PS+ MONTHS AGO.
EU got Rayman Origins a few months back anyway.

I own the J&D trilogy and the ICO & SotC bundle.
Giving people ICO instead of SotC is so, so bad. I don't personally care for J&D at all. I found Ratchet and Clank series (and HD bundle) way more enjoyable
