I've messed with shadows a bit, but didn't see any clear improvement. The opposite in fact.

It's a pity, but the UE3 debug commands seem pretty much locked down, or the guys at Red Barrels are using another system to control FOV and the camera.

Ah, Alo you are far from stick-assed. Also, these are quite nifty. Thats how Beat and Gum get around.

Interesting atmosphere. How is the game?

Its a point an click adventure murder mystery (although you can change the gameplay from third person to first person to an overhead view camera )

The world detail surprised me how well it looks and the voice actors for Holmes and Watson are great to listen to .

all the other Va are good too although some of them sound a little forced.

So far the only complaints i have is that sometimes controls are a little wonky . and for some of the puzzles they should have given you a better Clue as to what you are trying to achieve as for some i was completely stumped as to what i should do.

Dammit, and here I go coming off not how I wanted to, myself. I meant that you're usually the one to spot things that most won't notice. People using jpgs is a case in point. I was actually trying to compliment you for being so observant. There were a couple instance these last pages where I made a post that was repeated by someone else shortly later. That would never happen to you, I bet. Showing that you found something to be amiss is demonstrating that you either are paying attention or care (positively or negatively) or both. No harm in that.

Also, I'm Dutch. We're all quite boorish, compared to - say - your average US citizen. I can take a crab jab (even if there wasn't any).

By the inimitable Emerald Reign no less, a modder and shooter that I cherish in a place close to my heart.

And damnations, ScRYeD. That ENB you're using is making me wanna toss what I'm working on and continue with that. Which one is it? Or is it your own?

Yep! Emulated in Dolphin. rendered at 4k with 4xSSAA.

To accommodate the legions that were clamouring for reduced contrast and/or colour in their game, the Betrayer devs updated the alpha to include not only brightness and contrast sliders, but also one for saturation. I'm still HUGELY in favour of the original look, but I thought I'd give this a try because why the hell not.

Also, I think the devs are pretty cool people -- judged mainly by how they respond to the torrent of juvenile demands that litter their Steam Forums.


...and damn! this PNG did NOT compress well.

Looks good to me. I seriously thought that was Skyrim at first.

Well, the compression is lossless of course, but I meant size-wise. One page of just these could theoretically lead to NeoGAF users having to download 3 GB worth of data. That is when you've got nothing but 50 triptychs of 4K Betrayer PNG's.
