A year is a very long time in the gaming world. I'd argue that releasing in the Spring capitalizes on the buzz of the game still being kinda new. That game coming out a year from now isn't going to generate as much buzz IMO.
Guess we'll see when it announced.

Personally, I'm more convinced it's showing up in the Spring than I am it's PS4 exclusive. I just can't imagine Sony has the kind of money to make that happen, but then again, there is that whole Agent thing that's never been settled. So who knows......

Some folks in this thread are foolishly speculating that Sony traded "Agent" as a PS4 exclusive for GTA V as a exclusive on next-gen consoles. As I said I said earlier in this thread, that would be an awful trade because GTA V will already be out on Xbox360, PS3, & probably PC by the time it comes out on PS4.

It's still would be an AWFUL Trade. "Agent" as a PS4 exclusive from Rockstar Games would be more of a system seller & generate more hype than GTA V as a PS4 exclusive on next-gen systems that already been released on current-gen consoles & PC.

Unless the only "next gen" version is the PS4 version, and it never comes to XB1. That would be an equal trade for Agent IMO, because that would sell consoles for Sony.

I think there are 2 options
GTA5 nextgen port shortly after current gen version, 2013 Q4 - 2014 Q1, basically much better looking game and more similar to PC version, perhaps cross gen online play.
GTA5 nextgen port a year after current gen version. Has extra DLC content, graphics are way better, perhaps GTA Online expanded with more social features and higher player count (64).

at the fact that some folks think trading "Agent" as a PS4 exclusive for a GTA V PS4 exclusive port on next-gen consoles is a good idea.
I'll bet you dollars to donuts that any next-gen version of GTAV (with added DLC or not) will sell a hell of a lot more than a new exclusive Rockstar IP that could potentially be good, but also potentially blow. It's not like Rockstar can do no wrong.

Agent probably doesn't even exist anymore, and it's highly probable that Rockstar would rather not make it than to make it exclusive.

Trust me, a GTA V port isn't the only thing killing it if you've been reading GAF .
Rockstar just renewed the trademark for "Agent" a month or 2 ago: http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/07/23/rockstar-renews-agent-trademarks
Also a couple of the trusted Sony insiders on this forum have pretty much confirmed that "Agent" is not dead.
