Did you mean Agent? Why would they owe Sony for GTA4?
This could be a way for them to get out of their Agent deal, but I don't believe it is. I still think Agent is coming and will be a PS4 exclusive, perhaps timed with PS4 exclusive DLC.
It could also be the case that Agent has been substituted for something like Bully 2 or Manhunt 3/reboot.

It was pretty telling when at Gamescom EA kept saying "Xbox first" and not "only on Xbox". They're timed exclusives.
EA loves money. They aren't going to do 100% exclusives on anything this gen.
I thought Titanfall was a hard console exclusive for XBO?
Titanfall is coming to PC with XBO, the other two are timed and coming out for PC, etc after awhile.

Cboat confirmed that's its 1 year timed exclusive. He also confirmed that Dead Rising 3 is being funded by MS and is therefore a permanent exclusive.

Titanfall is coming to PC, X1 and 360. A PS4 release isn't out of the question as said by Respawn, so that means it'll happen as soon as the exclusivity deal with MS runs out.
As for DR3, I think it's been said by those who know it's a hard exclusive. DR4, if it ever happens, will likely be a different story.

But it makes sense. There's no doubt gtav is coming to pc and if porting the pc version to ps4 costs less than the the amount of revenue they can make from porting, there's no reason for R* to not do so.
GTAV PS4 bundle at $400 and I might crack. Actually that might happen with $400 PS4 infamous bundle.
Unless Sony or MS are bout to have a PS2 era of domination R will never, never make an exclusive. If Agent is still a thing then it will be multiplat. They said they wouldn't do the whole dlc timed exclusive on that level again after GTA 4, because they felt they lost more then gained. If they do it again then it might be to payoff the gta 4 deal.

No, not yet, but it would be what does it for me.
Every single GTA game is available on the PC. Hell, the entire franchise began on the PC. Comparing it to Red Dead Redemption doesn't make sense.

My first blush is why would Sony trade a new game exclusive for a late port of a game available on other platforms. Then I thought if GTA Online becomes a thing this could be a huge get for Sony. Even bigger deal if it is a true exclusive and not just timed. The built in broadcasting ability could possibly change the way people view GTA Online as they share their games with everyone else.
I still find this hard to believe, though.

We know Sony is very keen on cross-platform play PS4/PS3/Vita and Microsoft not so much 360/X1 (comments from War Thunder devs Gaijin).
I don't think GTA V will be PS4 nextgen exclusive, but if it is, could it be because R* wants GTA Online to be cross-platform PS4/PS3 and 360/X1, and Microsoft hesitated?

There has to be something going on with Rockstar and Sony right now. Nearly all GTA V promotions only made references to the PS3 version, which is a polar opposite to what happened with GTA IV. If the Xbox One pre-order numbers translate into actual sales for the next year, I don't see why Rockstar would have a deal with Microsoft.

It comes as a big surprise to me, especially since most developers used the 360 as their lead platform for this generation. Most marketing materials made very little effort to showcase the PS3 version.

R* never ported RDR to PC. If gtav comes to PC, porting to ps4 will be easy. And you'd be crazy to think they aren't going to release gtav on PC.

This is nothing new and doesn't suggest anything is going on.
A port to PS4 shall be easier because the game is developed on PC anyways, and PS4 shares the x86 architecture while offering better specs (of course).

Announcing for other platforms prior to PS360 release might affect sales. They want people to have to double dip. It sucks, but that seems to be their thinking here. A PC version seems to be a pretty good bet. I think next gen also has a chance of happening. I'd be surprised if any of those hit before spring of next year, though.
Yes, they wouldn't announce PS4XBO versions because people would hold out for the better version.
PC version is a guarantee. All main GTAs have been on PC ~7-12 months after console release.
The only reason there is a doubt is because RDR never made it to PC, but considering how they treated the PC version of MP3 after GTAIV's shenanigans I'm confident it's going to be handled with much more care this time around.
I think part of the reason why RDR never made it to PC was because it was developed by Rockstar San Diego, not Rockstar North.

How so? Why would Rockstar switch its lead platform to PS3 this late into the generation? Why didn't Microsoft strike up another deal for more timed exclusive DLC? Why is there no reference to an Xbox One version in GTA V's code?

Hopefully Rockstar put some actual effort into the PC version this time when it does come out. On the bright side at least they can't infect it with GFWL.
That and I'm sure R*N was splitting their time with LA Noire trying to recover the mess that Team Bondi made of it.

Perhaps Sony felt they needed to have more of an advertising push for the game than MS? Perhaps MS decided not bother as they felt it would sell more on 360 anyway and buying up exclusive ad/promotional rights would be like pissing in the wind.
As for the DLC, apparently R* weren't happy with having exclusive as they felt they lost more than they gained, which is reasonable.
The code thing is still unconfirmed and I'm not putting too much stock in it just yet as it's pastebin. The home of the Xbox One having 12gb of ram, two GPUs, etc.

Haha, yeah, I know. Many of them were stupid cheap, like the Steam versions. I bought LCS and VCS for the PSP (and bought a PSP due to them) though I would've preferred them on the PS2. They swore up and down it wouldn't come to the PS2 and, lo and behold, they came out. Got them fairly cheap, but still...
I do buy lots of other games, though, but that's another area where I have issues. =)
Did Reggie not have a meeting with Rockstar before the WiiU was launched?
Kinda wish a WiiU sku was announced, my fat ps3 is so loud and I no longer have XBL gold.... Free online play with a next to silent machine would have been nice.
