Was not impressed with it tbh. Love the Clipse but after not enjoying Malice's debut and Pusha's debut, I'm convinced they should've stayed together. Lol. But a few tracks are cool though, like Suicide, Nosestalgia and SNITCH.

I haven't had the opportunity to listen to this as an album, but I've heard all of the tracks at least a few times and I like it. The weakest song to me is probably "Sweet Serenade" but it's not unlistenable or anything, just slight. "Hold On", "S.N.I.T.C.H", and "Numbers on the Boards" are the standouts to me, and I appreciate the Star Trakiness of "Suicide" and the Ma$e homage/early 2000s feel of "Let Me Love You". "King Push" is tight too but I'm a little burnt out on it.

Looking forward to listening straight through, I can't really settle my thoughts on the album until I do, but overall I'm satisfied with it.

Still can't believe what happened to Malice, that is probably the biggest "wut" moment involving a rapper.

the subject matter maybe, but not the production. not sure why youd check pusha for a narrative beyond a four bar story at this point.

Lyricism, which I don't find up that compelling on this either. He's good for a bar, gets tired after about two. The four bar stories have nothing going for them other than their face value, I'm not adverse to crack stories. But I need the story to reveal something beyond, "I moved crack." Otherwise, I can't relate, and I don't care.

...and that, kids, was the first time I sucked a dick for crack
One of my all time favorite opening verses:

Fear him, as soon as you hear him
Upon my arrival, the dope dealers cheer him
Just like a revival, the verse tends to steer 'em
Through a life in the fast lane, I German engineer 'em
No serum can cure all the pain I've endured
From crack to rap to back to sellin it pure
For every record I potentially sell in the store
It's like Mecca to the dealer that's sellin it raw
So many deceive ya
I'm on top with the ki's, move over Alicia
I force feed ya the metric scale
Rap's like child's play, my show and tell
Within each verse you see the truth's unveiled
They manufacture proof as they lie to themselves
Puppets on the string like a yoyo
Bouncin like a pogo, they prayin I never go solo
