Yeah. I called a place, and asked if they had it.

I live in FL if anyone's wondering

I suppose I should've kept it to myself for now. Lmao. ;~; My bad.

Why is nobody else from florida gaf bugging out about this? TELL US WHERE? EVEN A CITY! CHECK YOUR PMS DAMMIT

Still not feeling the tongue-scarf or greninja's limbs. I guess I strongly prefer incremental changes to radical shifts because the "playing it safe" fanart looks way the hell better to me than greninja.

Delphox is way better than Braixen but still not really speaking to me....

If chespin 3 disappoints I'm gonna have to think long and hard about whether to go team froakie or enlist in team #boxmystarter for the first time ever.

Swift was never this beast

YAAASSSS water/dark!! Dark has been my favorite type ever since murkrow! both starters are looking awesome so far, cant wait for chespins. There has only been 2 gens where I liked all the starters, the first and second gen. 6th might be the 3rd one :)

I knew team froakie was the way to go. although i think I might switch my pre order to X. Y has the better legendary but dat mega mewtwo x and charziard x :3

Apparently greninja is the only pokemon in the game that remains completely motionless and in the same pose...cant we see somethig different of it?

I like water/dark as a concept, and it fits Greninja, but so many weaknesses.

electric, grass, bug, fighting, fairy

I'd say those weakness are pretty fair and balanced. Should be wide spread...

I think the most common enemy you'd have to keep an eye on is Fairy, Grass, and maybe Electric. Plus there is no reason to try and match Geninja up against a bug or fighting type. There's not much advantage to that...

Someone mentioned we could trade from VI to V without that paid service? So I can import my Piplup as a starter day one? :0

I've gone this route several times. It's actually really interesting. Make some other early-obtained Pokemon the pillar of your team.

What does that even mean?

Greninja in general just looks like a fakemon to me.

Doesn't match up with personal tastes seems to equal "Not real pokemon" or "fanart pokemon" online.

Delphox doesn't match my personal tastes. Greninja is the one that looks like fanart, IMO.

So far:
  • Fire Starter has a rather disappointing final evolution, but a good typing.
  • Water Starter has a divisive final evolution, an interesting double type, but his signature move seems to be Physical, whereas it's a Special sweeper... Why GameFreak?
  • Grass Starter, Chespin the Allmighty, is still making us wait. Please bless us with your divine appearance!
  • Pokemon Origins seems very interesting. I wasn't interested at all, but the few images and .gif I saw made me change my mind. I'm actually pretty excited.

Edit for the post right above me: wow, serious? Uh-oh, someone is going to have legal issues.

Bronetta

Ask me about the moon landing or the temperature at which jet fuel burns. You may be surprised at what you learn.
Chespin's final evo gonna deck the competition.

I've started doing this last gen and it's feels liberating in a weird way. It took until Level 40 until I realized I didn't want it anymore but after that it was awesome.

This gen it's even easier because you get a Kanto starter early on as well.

leakers are at the 5/6 badge and only 3 new pokemon + final evos, so it's most likely true.

i'm crying myself to sleep tonight.

Given this is the first time GF has had to make SO many 3D models for a mainline game, I can forgive a smaller generation. Stuff that we've seen's been pretty good so far. If Gen VII is small as well, I'll not be very happy at all.

Has there been anything confirmed/debunked about TMs being one time use again? I'll hope it's fake but you never know with GameFreak :(

3D models is an excuse now? haha

Grass/Steel makes the most sense, it lets the Chespin line involve into a tank pokemon with only 2 weaknesses and a whole lot of resists. http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Ferroseed_%28Pok%C3%A9mon%29#Type_effectiveness Also, again, Chespin's clearly growing armor.

This is the mess you get with Grass/Fighting: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Virizion_%28Pok%C3%A9mon%29#Type_effectiveness

Grass/Fighting's resistances to ground + rock is pretty amazing actually.

Steel of course combos well with almost any other type
