Yes i was.
Was because stuff became too expensive all of a sudden, i had 250+ volumes... not too much stuff being sincere but one day i decided that they took too much space in my room and threw everything in the trash leaving only 40ish volumes of the most important stuff.

Why didn't you just sell or donate them? Could have gone to use for some collectors looking for cheap volumes.

Selling was out of discussion, you never manage to sell manga and if by some chance you manage to it's years and years after you decided to sell them. They had to go asap from my room.
I really don't know who could've accepted donation of manga so...

I collect manga as well but sadly don't have a part time job yet so my manga buying is on hold for the moment. Have 20 something Bleach Volumes, 30+ more to go lol. Then I need to start on OP and the rest of my favorite mangas.

Pokemon Update:

Chose Charmander after deciding that Torchic isn't my style of Pokemon.

So my main team is Froakie (not letting it evolve yet), Charmander, Pikachu and Pidgey as of now.

Will definitely change it post end game.

Need a Glass Pokemon and maybe a Psychic or Fairy. Oh and a Fighting Pokemon.

I am at 567 volumes right now (physically) and just bought Legend of Mana 2-5 and Rahxephon 2+3.

Since I collect them I really wanna have all of them, even though if I didnt like them that much. Its especially hard to get the last volume of Eureka Seven 6 for a good price nowadays. I already looked for it since 2010 and it was 6,50€ normally, but even in 2010 it was already 25-30€, even though it came out in 2008 here.

Another thing I kinda hate is the paper that was used in the early 00s for german manga. So I have GTO here and the first 10 volumes already look "yellow", while all the later volumes still look totally white. Looks a bit shitty in the bookshelf


Btw. is there a used manga-scene in america? I wanted to buy GTO Shonan 14 days and 80€ for the 9 volumes still seems a bit too high right now for me.

I collect them as well, and I have a lot of them. Still gotta get out of my ass to take a few pics of the ones I have on the bookshelves though.

Actually, I'm also a veteran with scanlations, I started with them when the scene was being formed. Noated, mangaproject, omanga, snoopycool, toriyamaworld, mangascreener, mangascans, etc.

That's incredible. I only buy series which I want to buy all of, and I'm pretty picky/poor.
I own all of Shonan Junai Gumi, GTO: 14 Days in Shonan, Berserk, half of Hoshi no Samidare, half of regular GTO, and about 20 random volumes of Kindaichi.

This is really good. The first spread reminded me of Jabberwocky, but the art (fortunately) is much clearer, with good concise paneling that doesn't sacrifice coherence in service of style.

In a city where men and beasts mingle, a superhero by the name of Keyman is found dead in an alley, and it's up to Inspector Alex - a dinosaur - to figure this shit out. I guess translations picked up again, or something.

Seven stories about . . . dragons and things, I suppose. This first story was about two kingdoms at war, and the cessation of hostilities forced by the sudden appearance of a dragon in the only road that connects the two nations. Silly stuff, and the conclusion has a very trite feel to it, but I'll read the next story at least.
